  4. 4. Criteria to be Eligible • Follow written and oral directions • Complete work on time • Be prepared for class • Use time wisely • Pay attention in class • Respect the rights, property, and feelings of others
  5. 5. Criteria to be Eligible •Display a good attitude toward learning •Observe quiet time •Follow proper hall and restroom behavior •Be respectful to adults •Return parent communications promptly •Have no bus referrals or citations
  6. 6. How to Qualify • Five checks are allowed per student • Sixth check disqualifies you • A bus referral counts as three checks • Unacceptable citations= six checks • Fighting • Defacing school property • Swearing • Cheating/forgery • Stealing
  7. 7. Parent Notification •After third check •Inappropriate Behavior Notice sent home •After sixth check •Notice sent home again •Bus referrals and citations are sent home immediately •All parent communications must be signed and returned promptly the next day
  8. 8. Students Who Do Not Qualify •Remain at school with a certified teacher •Each teacher takes a turn supervising •Students are given a packet of work to complete
