tense and the importance of verb in a sentence that tells us about what tense is it? To add a little more detail, I wish to add herein that English has only two kinds of tenses. These are Past and Non- Past tense. This non-past tense includes both the present and the future tense. Yet there are certain languages which do not have tenses. They are called Tenseless languages.
