1. FADE IN:
INTERIOR WAREHOUSE - TIME UNKNOWN
The screen starts off pitch black, a light then turns on in the
shot without revealing who switched on the light. A small woman
in a white shirt and blazer(JOANNA REED), then walks in holding a
toolbox and slams it down on the table next to a baseball bat.
REVEAL in the centre of the room a man with his head covered.
Joanna then walks over to the other side of the room holding the
bat to a man in a suit that looks like somewhat of a bodyguard.
She then picks up a phone, puts it to her ear and puts it back
down. Joanna begins to circle the gagged man with the bat,
playfully experimenting with it. She stands in front of him and
leans over.
JOANNA REED
(coldly)
Ready to talk?
The gagged man shakes his assertively.
JOANNA REED
(coldly)
You ready to talk?
The gagged man shakes his head again.
JOANNA REED
(nonchalantly)
Fine.
Joanna swiftly winds up the bat and swings straight at the man’s
face. The camera cuts to black right before any contact is made.
When the camera cuts back, the previously fine face of the
hostage is now bloodied. Joanna rips the tie gag down and he
swings forward and spits blood out onto the floor.
JOANNA REED
(nonchalantly, playfully)
Time’s ticking...

2. The man continues to refuse cooperation by not responding. Joanna
then strolls over back to the bodyguard on the side of the room
and picks up the phone from before that is now ringing.
JOANNA
Hello?
INTERCUT PHONE CONVERSATION
A man in a suit standing in a park by a pond.
DIMITRI
(panicked, speaking in Russian)
Where is it Joanne, I should be on a jet to
Moscow by now?
JOANNA
(ominously)
Give me ten minutes.
Joanna then cuts the call, leans towards the bodyguard and
whispers something in his ear. Without a word, the bodyguard
ambles over to beside the hostage and points a gun at his head.
HOSTAGE
(frantically)
The Diamond Hand, it’s the Diamond Hand!/I
just can’t let the diamonds fall into the
wrong hands.
The screen cuts to black. Bang!
