You're on Your Own Activites: What to do when you finish your work in the computer lab.

3. Directions Use the arrows to flip through the YOYO cards. You can also make the cards bigger by clicking on the Choose a card that has an activity that you can complete ON YOUR OWN. Once you find an activity you would like to complete click pause. Once the task is complete, please print to the Lab printer (Lab black and white) if it is appropriate to print, or just Command Q your work. 

4. Activity #1 Open Kidspiration. Click on Reading and Writing and then “All About Me.: Complete activity and print it, if you’d like.

5. Activity #2 Open Kidspiration. Click on Reading and Writing and then “Character Retell.” Complete activity and be sure to save it on your desktop.

6. Activity #3 Open Kidspiration. Click on Reading and Writing and then “Story of My Life.” Complete activity and be sure to save it on your desktop.

7. Activity #6 Open Kid Pix. Draw a picture only using the straight line tool. You can add color, but you can only use straight lines.

8. Activity #7 Open Kid Pix. Draw a picture of your family. Use the text tool to label family members.

9. Activity #8 Open Kid Pix. Draw a picture using a background, the line tool, and the text tool to share what your picture is about.

10. Activity #9 Open up WORD. Type a letter to someone (a teacher, your mom or dad, a relative, or a friend.)

11. Activity #10 Go online to www.readwritethink.org/materials/bookcover/ Create your own bookcover!

12. Activity #11 Go online to Tumble Books Read a story You can even do a quiz or write a book report!

13. Activity #12 Open Safari Go to www.kerpoof.com Choose make a picture, make a card, or make a doodle. Create an art masterpiece Print, if you wish

14. Activity #13 Open Tux Paint Design me a picture that goes with anything you are learning about in school. You can the stamps and any special effects to make your picture your best work. Don’t forget to include your name Print, if you wish.

15. Activity #14 Open Safari Go to http://jacksonpollock.org Click “Enter Jackson Pollock Site” Create your own Jackson Pollock painting. Click to change colors.

16. Activity #15 Open Safari Go to www.hasbro.com/litebrite/swf/litebrite.cfm Create your own picture using Light Brite pegs.

17. Activity #16 Open Kid Pix Create a picture that includes a background, people, and text. Be creative!
