Courses & Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree: The minimum eligibility for admission in BSc in Zoology is
10 + 2 in Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
Master’s Degree: Candidates must have passed B. Sc./ B. Sc. (Hons) in
Zoology. Candidates who have passed B. Sc./ B. A. in medical and allied
Medical Sciences/ Biosciences/ Life Sciences are also eligible to apply.
Ph. D. Degree: Post graduation in relevant discipline with at least 55%
Entrance Exam (as per college selection)

certain entrance exams. The most common entrance exam after
BSc Zoology is Indian Forest Service (IFoS Exam) which is
conducted by UPSC for Indian Forest Services recruitments.

controlled or natural surroundings
Employing complex procedures, for example, computerized molecular and
cellular analysis and in-vitro fertilization
Conducting research and maintaining ways of improving breeding programs
of various endangered species
Writing research papers and reports on the basis of their research
Developing conservation plans and making recommendations on wildlife
conservation and management issues to policymakers and the general
public

Developing and implementing programs to reduce risk to human
activities from wildlife and invasive species, such as keeping
wildlife from impacting airport operations or livestock and crop
production
Developing educational materials for zoo staff or visitors
Identifying and refining chemicals produced from plants for the
usage in products such as drugs, food, fabrics, solvents, etc
