Interviews<br />My name is Ramin and I asked two rock fans named Paul and Sophie, both 18 from my college questions about rock music videos so it could help me potentially for my own music video.<br />Interview with Paul<br />Ramin “what is your favourite music genre?”<br />Paul “rock music”<br />Ramin “why?”<br />Paul” Because its real music, unique, what you see is what you get compared too for example music like hip hop where you just sit and watch people just babbling about how much cars and girls they have and pop where they make the world seem so perfect, rock is true music showing the world as it is”.<br />Ramin “what’s your favourite rock music video and why?”<br />Paul “ Nirvana smells like teen spirit, because the music video is simple yet interesting, you see the Kurt Cobain just with a microphone and a guitar, however the music video has the crowds which just keeps you interested and it has a tragic American feel to it. Also it matches the lyrics “smells like teenage sprit” makes you think of the stereotypical teenagers which is teenagers partying, being cheerleaders and this music video has all of that and I’m glad because I enjoy the lyrics going with the video so I can make sense of the music video.<br />Ramin “Do you prefer a rock music video being narrative based or performance shots or both?”<br />Paul “I prefer both because it’s nice to see both a nice narrative and also performances shots to see the talent of artist.”<br />What kind of themes does you like in a rock music video?<br />Paul’s “tragic themes with a love story in it, because tragedy and love is the one of the strongest human emotions and most people can relate to this at least in one moment in their lives.”<br />Interview with Sophie<br />Ramin “So Sophie you like rock music, what makes it a good rock music video in your opinion?”<br /> Sophie “ I would like a rock music video to have an energetic vibe, with shots of the artists throughout the music video but also having a good story to it as well so it could engage me. Also I like special effects in music videos; I like to see modern but believable and cool stuff in a music video”<br />Ramin “What kind of clothes do you prefer the artists to wear in a rock music video?”<br />Sophie “Grunge kind of clothes like nirvana because that is what I expect rock artists to wear therefore it would be weird for them to wear something else”<br />Ramin “what kind of setting would you like to see the rock band performing in a rock music video?”<br />Sophie “I would like them to show in the music video them performing live as this would make me feel as if the music video is played live so I can see the their talents such as guitar playing rather than them just standing in a room with no guitar playing in the video but it can be heard in the music being played. <br />
