Overthe years,animatedmovieshave beensteadilyrisingin popularity. Whyanimated
moviesare sointerestingandsuccessful?Basically, itisdue tothe fact that animatedmoviesare a
collaborative effortthatmakesanoverall filmthateverybodycanrelate to. Animatedmoviesalso
musthave a strongand clearmessage thatchildrenandadultsalike couldunderstandoreven

twomovieswhichIwill be comparingis‘The Incredibles’and‘BigHero6’.These twomoviespossess
multiple similarityandindividual characteristicswhichmake themstandoutamongthemselves.
To start off,the primarysimilarity of boththese moviesisthattheyrelate andfocusmore
on the family complications.Withthe movie‘The Incredibles’, we getagroup of superpowered
abilitiesboundtogetherbyfamily.The storyismainlyaboutasuperherofamilywithasomewhat

accurate to a normal householdminusthe superpoweraspect. Itexpressedtome whata family
shouldbe like asone personcan’tcarry the family, nomatterhow strongone may be.While the
othermovie ‘BigHeroSix’talksaboutHiro Hamada,a 14-yearoldrobotic geniusinthe futuristic
fictional cityof SanFransokyo.Hiroand hisbrother,Tadashi wasraisedbytheiraunt aftertheir
parents’ death. The movie showsthatsometimesfamilycan indeed letusdown.Hiro’sfamily did
not purposelylethimdownbuttheywere notbyhisside whenhe neededthemthe most.Butat the
end,Hirodid overcome hisproblemswiththe helpof hisclose friends.
Moreover,the themesof these moviesshare acertainsimilarityaswell.Both‘The
Incredibles’and‘BigHeroSix’possessthe theme of teamworkisalwaysthe key.Mostof the time,
we believethatwe doneedhelpfromothersinorderto achieve ourgoals.Thatfact couldnot be
any furtherfromthe truth. At the climax of ‘The Incredibles’,Syndromewasnota match forthe
Incredibles family,Syndromelostthe battle of supremacytothembecause he wantedtowinitall by
himself.If onlySyndrome hadateamof alliesorhenchmen,he mighthave awinningchance. In‘Big

same goal will make themmore focusand unitesthemtogether.
Aside fromthat,thissimilaritymaysoundabit a sillybutisactuallyserious.Inthisdayof
age, most of us preferstouse remote television controllersratherthanjustswitchingthe channel
manually. We dothisbecause we preferthe convenience andasa resultwe become needyonit.
Justlike inthe movie ‘The Incredibles’,Syndrome tieshiswhole evil plantohisabilitytocontrol his

The lastsimilaritythesemovieshave isthatitshowslife worksindifferentways.Life

Syndrome properlywhenhe wasakid,he wouldn’thave turnedouttobe a villaintoeveryone and
evencausingthe livesof manyothersuperheroes.
In conclusion, animatedmoviesare alwaysenjoyable foreveryoneatanyage due to their
storyand contents.Both‘BigHero Six’and‘The Incredibles’share manysimilaritybutapproach
