3. The process of playing theatre
The students observe the teacher at first.
They imitate the teacher’s mimics, gestures and full body movement.
After the observation process, the students use the theatre corner and whic is
prepared by teacher and try to imitate the movements. mimics and gestures they
have learned.
After the process of preparation a play is choosen and the students choose their
roles and they are motivated to choose suitable costumes for their roles.

After the theatre session a child can:

5. Developing Musical Sensitivity
The teacher makes students listen different kinds of music; high tones and low
tones. Students are wanted to know the difference between tones and the nature
of music.
Some musical instruments are brought into the classroom and students are
introduced with the sound of these musical instruments.
The students are motivated to produce simple musical instruments and define the
sounds.
The students are motivated to sing songs.

At the end of the process of developing musical sensitivity a child can:
. recognise high and low tones
. react to rhythm, tempo and the intensity of music
. name the musical instrument
. produce simple samples of musical instruments
8. Developing Dancing talents
The students are listened to different kinds of music. The students move
according to tones of music.
The teacher let students move freely by the music they listen and let them express
themselves through their body movements.
the students are given the opportunity to dance alone, in pairs or in a group.

10. Developing Manual Dexerity
The Students are introduced to drawing with pencils and painting with coloring
with crayons, colorful pencils, brushes and water colors.
The students are introduced to cutting papers, sculpting and modelling clay and
play dough
The students use different materials like glue, paper cartons or recycling
materials to construct things.
Before the activities the studens are made aware of some natural scenes to have
an idea for producing things.

13. Accomplishing reading readiness
The teacher introduce new words by reading story to the students.
The teacher introduces the letters in process of the story reading.
The students are aware of the correct usage of words in terms of story reading
and retelling the story.
The students are introduced to importance of words and reading books.
During tis proccess story telling are supported by pre-reading and post-reading
activities. Teacher can use posters, flashcards.
The teacher helps the students to be aware of the letters by giving names to the
toys in the classroom which are in the playing corner.
