Job Description :
KOPL is one of the leading producers of speciality chemicals from India with its distribution
points at UK, USA and Singapore. Business activities are focused on the manufacture of
specialty chemicals for cosmetic and personal care industries. The main segments served are
Cosmetics, personal care and pharmaceutical industries. KOPL, UK was formed during 2006,
and are looking for an excellent sales skilled personnel for the company in UK. The primary
responsibility of this role as a Sales representative is to develop and implement individual
account strategies incorporating regional sales, marketing and product strategies and plans to
meet the financial targets of the KOPL business in the UK.
The incumbent will:
Identify new potential customers, promote KOPL products, establish, maintain
and grow close customer relationships and cooperation on projects;
The incumbent will be responsible for Monthly Sales target assigned by KOPL UK.;
Analyze, Gather and assimilate market information and competitive information;
Provide monthly update of activities at assigned customer: opportunities, new
contacts, progress of current projects;
Participate at trade fairs.
Provide significant technical guidance to existing and new potential customers;
Provide a logistical support to the regular customers
Provide in time customer support services to enhance customer satisfaction and
increase the business volume
The selected candidate is required to possess the following:
A Bachelor’s degree in technical area with at least 3 years of experience in the
Personal Care industry;
Sales and marketing experience in Personal care /cosmetic industry;
Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels in the customer and internal
organization and posses a balanced sensitivity to customer concerns and business
needs;
Ability to elicit cooperation and influence others to drive business strategies,
goals and objectives;

Ability to prioritize time and effort to focus on business opportunities which have
most chances to succeed. This will require a confident, highly motivated self-

Good knowledge of cosmetic industry, market, technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cosmetic science or MBA;
>3 years’ experience in business development and marketing of cosmetic /
personal care ingredients, especially in the area of Speciality actives.
