Editorial
I
ndia is a vast and diverse country, with a history and
struggle with gender inequality. For centuries, women
have faced immense challenges, discrimination, seen
as in competent and set limited opportunities. However in
recent decades the powerful wave of feminism has bought
a positive change, transforming and rebuilding the lives of
women across the nation. In this magazine, we explore the
hardships faced by women and how society has set limited
boundaries for women in Indian context and highlights how
feminism has been empowering for Indian women.
This magazine focuses on topics concerning struggles
with not just inequality, discrimination, and roles of women
in society, but also includes psychological triggers faced
through a higher rate of reports recorded of body shaming
and certain beauty standards set by the society.
Feminism has undoubtedly been a force of empowerment,
transforming the lives of women in India and challenging
the prevailing patriarchal norms.
The movement has ignited a spark of change, breaking
down barriers and empowering women to realize their
individuals, communities, and policymakers. By embracing
feminism, we can build a society where every woman’s voice
is heard, her rights are protected, and her dreams are attain-
