Join us at 9:30 a.m. - Classes from Nursery - Adult. We have 5 adult
class offerings so just drop in on one of them next Sunday. Classes
are: Explore the Book taught by Pastor Gary & Kurt Postma meeting
in the Youth Room, Grace By Which We Stand taught by Harold
Kimbel, Pastor Craig Apel & Allen Riemersma meeting in the Board

BUILDING FUND CHALLENGE: We have received an
anonymous offer to match whatever money we can raise by
December 18 to apply toward (and prayerfully pay off) our
mortgage. Our congregational challenge is to raise $135,000.
Please prayerfully consider designating funds to the building fund
by December 18. We give God the glory in working through His
people, and we praise Him for this opportunity to partner together
in removing this mortgage payment from our debt. Please be sure
to mark any donation to the Building Fund.
If you are interested in participating in Franklin Graham's Decision
America Tour and be represented on the steps of our state capitol this
Tuesday, October 4th please contact John Tooke at 616-403-7299.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH: This Sunday is the last week to choose a week

SUPPLIES FOR THE PHILIPPINES Today is the last day to drop off supplies that the
Fishell’s will be delivering to kids with special needs in the Philippines.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS Children from 1st - 5th grade are
encouraged to join Parkside’s Children’s Choir being held every Wednesday evening from
5:15-6:00 p.m. The choir is under the direction of Pastor Gary and Sue Spykerman.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY It’s not too late to join the Women’s Bible Study held every
Thursday night from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the church. We are doing a verse-by-verse study of
the book of Philippians and there are still study books available. If interested, please see
either Cheryl Tooke or Susan Spykerman today!
3 G’S (God’s Gifted Gals) Please join other ladies at the church this Friday at 6:30 p.m. for a
“Fall Festival” with donuts, cider and hot cocoa. Bring a craft to work on or to just hang out with
other ladies and talk! Plan to join the fun and invite your lady friends!
YOUNG MARRIED COUPLES EVENT Young Marrieds - This Saturday, October 8, please
plan to attend a bonfire at Bill & Debb Large’s home from 6:30-8:00 p.m. This is our “Kick Off
Event” so we would love to have a big group attend. Bring the kids, if you have any, and fishing
poles and bait if you would like to fish with your kids. Also please bring some lawn chairs if you
can. We will provide Smores around the campfire! The address is 500 Pine Lake Court in
Holland 49424. Please RSVP before October 5 by texting 616-566-1944 or by emailing Bill

INFANT/CHILD DEDICATION If you have an infant or child that you would like to dedicate

“GETTING TO KNOW YOU”
If you are new to Parkside Bible Church and would like to know more about
the church family, join us for 4 weeks as we go through the basic foundational elements
of our philosophy, our doctrine and other important issues. These 4 one-hour classes
are also for those who want to become members of the church. We’ll be meeting on
Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on October 19, October 26, November 2 and
November 9. Please call the church office to register or for more information.
ANNUAL MEETING OCTOBER 10 AT 7:00 PM
All attendees are encouraged to pick up a copy of our Annual Report
from the table in the Fellowship Hall. Our proposed board members and
proposed budget are in the packet. All members are strongly encouraged
to attend as we must have a quorum. If you are a member and absolutely
cannot be present for the meeting, you can obtain an absentee ballot from
Eloy Ramos or from assistant Judy Timmer today. (No absentee ballots
will be given out after October 9.)

“CONNECT” - SUNDAY
EVENING GATHERINGS
FROM 6:00-7:15 P.M.
Join us on Sunday evenings as we CONNECT with one
another and the Scriptures from 6:00-7:15 p.m. We’ll be
sharing from God’s Word, providing opportunities for small
group discussion, and more.
Our first CONNECT will happen next Sunday, October 9,
as we hear an update from John Cook who just returned from
Malaysia.
