YOUTH EVENT - DETROIT TIGERS GAME
All Jr. & Sr. High youth are invited to a Detroit Tigers Game this Thursday,
6/29. We will be leaving the church at 9:00 a.m. and will return around
8:00 p.m. The cost is $20 per person.
We would like to thank everyone for the cards, kind words and donations in
Jim’s name. Thanks to Pastor Gary, Pastor Joe, the musicians, the sound
booth guys and our ladies that prepared the luncheon. We were truly
blessed at the memorial service. We love our Parkside family and so
did Jim. Blessings to you all! The Crane/Riemersma Families
Camp Scholarships
Parkside’s Mission Board has decided to offer camp scholarships to students of the
church that are attending a Christian camp this summer or whenever. Forms are
available at the Youth Counter and can be returned to Courtney Cook. The scholar-
ship will cover 25% of the cost of an approved camp up to $100 per year per child.
FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY FUN AT THE FURBUSH’S
All youth group aged youth and their families, along with youth sponsors and
young adults are invited to “fun and fellowship” in and around the pool at Big
Fur (Daniel), Linda & Jessica’s home, 4781 Crestwood Avenue in Holland.
The evenings run throughout the summer on Friday nights starting at 5:30 p.m.

ADULT FAMILY BIBLE HOUR TODAY Join us this morning at 11:00 am to noon for our
adult FBH class taught by Harold Kimbel in the Board Room. The series is entitled “Our
Mission Starts Now” and the lesson today is “The Purpose of Election.” The series is an
in-depth look at our salvation, purpose and everyday walk as we live out our life in Christ
Jesus.
EVENING SERVICE TONIGHT Plan to join us tonight from 6:00-7:00 p.m. as we gather for
a great time of worship and singing of some good old hymns!
WEDNESDAY SUPER SENIORS If you are 55 and older, we welcome you to meet with
other seniors in Parkside’s Fellowship Hall this Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. as we
pray, sing, learn and build community with each other. Pastor Joe will be leading the
session. We will be going to Wendy’s on Butternut for lunch.
SUMMER KIDS CLUB Plan to have your kids and their friends ages 5-11 be part of our
Wednesday night Kids Club meeting at Parkside from 6:30-8:00 p.m. through August 30.
We have singing, games, Bible stories, puppets, memory verses, refreshments and more!
MEN’S C.A.Y.R. SUMMER SERIES Join other men at the church on Saturday mornings
from 8-9 a.m. to build relationships and learn how to better serve our community. We’ll
have a light breakfast as we discuss the needs of our widows, elderly and those recovering
from surgeries.
SUMMER WORSHIP NIGHT TONIGHT! Twice a month through the summer, we are
offering Summer Worship Nights to those age 12-29. The events are held at the church
from 7:00-8:30 p.m. It’s a time to gather with people from all over West Michigan to worship
together, and enjoy music and guest speakers. Join us tonight as “Reigning Grace” leads
our worship.
