t for Patti Wolters who will be having hip replace-
ment tomorrow morning at Holland Hospital;
t for Sabrina Preikszas’ mom who was recently
diagnosed with a brain tumor and will start radiation
treatments soon;
t for complete healing for John Feyereisen’s
incisions in the next 2 weeks so that reconstructive
surgery will not be required. Also praise the Lord that
his latest MRI showed the cancer as holding stable!
t for healing of the skin graft that Melva Russcher
had on her forehead where melanoma was removed;
t for encouragement and a “feel-good” Christmas for
Tobin Crook as he continues with medical treatments;
t for peace during the holidays for the lonely and for
those who have recently lost loved ones;

Christmas Eve Service this Saturday

Youth Groups:
Sr. High - We encourage you to come caroling with the church today prior
to youth group. (See details in the bulletin.) Youth Group will begin at
6:00 pm with our Christmas Dinner. Bring a white elephant gift of $5 or less.
Jr. High – This Wednesday will be our Christmas Dinner. Bring a
white elephant gift of $5.00 or less.
There will be no youth groups on Christmas, Dec. 28, Jan.1 or Jan. 4.
Jr. & Sr. High Youth and families - plan to join us for our New Year’s
Eve Party on December 31 starting at 8:00 p.m. and concluding 12:30 a.m.
Bring a snack to share and just show up for a fun evening!!!

FAMILY BIBLE HOUR FOR WOMEN & HIGH
SCHOOL GIRLS STARTS ON JANUARY 8
The Ladies Family Bible Hour class has completed their study of the
Ten Women of the Bible and will be starting a new study on Jan. 8 at
9:30 a.m. We welcome all ladies and high school girls to join us as
we study “The Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer. It is a seven-week
Bible Study and video series teaching us how to walk in victory
because we have completely put on the armor that God has given us.
There is a study guide that can be purchased for $8.00 if you would
like to get more out of the class. You can still attend the class with-
out the workbook but we need to know how many books to order so
please signup at the Women’s Ministry Counter if you want to order
a book and also if you plan to attend. If you have questions, please
contact Lisa Kimbel at 772-5149 or email her at liskim46@aol.com.
OTHER FBH CLASSES WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON! Our sanctuary is looped with a t-coil for hearing aids.
If you have used or extra Bibles or devotionals,
Parkside’s is collecting them to give to new
believers who cannot afford them. Please put
your gift in the tote box located in the library.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING AT RESTHAVEN TODAY! The entire family is invited to join the
Women’s Bible Study Group for Christmas caroling at Resthaven Maplewood (49 East 32nd
Street in Holland) this afternoon from 4:30-5:15 p.m. Following the caroling, we will return
to the church for refreshments & fellowship. This is open to the whole family so bring your
children! Please RSVP to Cheryl Tooke at 616-403-7576 or justpraisin@gmail.com so we
know how many plan to join us.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR The Childrens’ Choir, “Grace Notes”, will be taking a Christmas break
and will not be meeting this Wednesday or the 2 Wednesdays following but will resume on
January 11. If you would like to join the choir (for 1st-5th grade), plan to join the group after
the first of the year from 5:15 - 6:00 p.m. We have lots of fun!! Any questions, contact Sue
Spykerman.
MINISTRY SERVICE PROJECT We have 4 families in the church that are in need of some
help this Christmas season. We will be collecting food for Christmas dinners and could use
items such as potatoes, stuffing, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, olives, pickles, pies,
rolls, etc. Baskets are available in the fellowship hall for these items which will be delivered
on 12/21. Due to some dietary issues, we are also asking for Meijer gift cards of any value.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE We will not be having Sunday worship on Christmas Day;
however, please arrange your holiday schedule to attend a Christmas Eve service this
Saturday from 5:00-6:15 p.m. Invite your friends and family to attend with you!
LITTLE DOLLS FOR ORPHANS PLATE Ministry is planning a workshop on January 14
from 9:00-2:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center at Parkside to cut and sew little dolls for
orphans. If you can sew and have access to a sewing machine, please bring it. If you can’t
sew, come and help us cut out. You can come & go as you need. A light lunch will be
served around noon. There is a sign-up sheet on the Women’s Ministry Counter. Questions,
call Kathy Trantham at 396-1975.
OFFERING ENVELOPES If you regularly use offering envelopes, be sure to pick them up
from your mail basket. If you don’t have but want offering envelopes for next year, please
call Judy at 399-4410 or email her at parksidejudy@sbcglobal.net.
