Crane who has moved into Providence Nursing Home,

has not been going well for him so far;

MEET ALLYSSA THOMPSON-WORSHIP ARTS CANDIDATE!
Allyssa, a candidate for Worship Arts Director at Parkside, will be leading
worship this Sunday and next. She is currently a student at Grace Bible
College and will graduate the end of this month with a Bachelor’s degree in
Worship Arts. She is the daughter of Dave & Terri Thompson, has two
brothers, Casey and Chris, and currently resides in Hudsonville. Allyssa
enjoys doing crafts from Pinterest, writing music, watching movies, reading
books, learning new things, going walking outdoors, and just being with people.
She has a passion for college-aged women and a goal of starting a conference
for women that can help empower them and also to help those who are young
and/or single find a purpose. She wants them to feel like they have an
important role in this world. Another goal is that she would like to have her
own band that would travel together and lead at retreats and conferences.
Allyssa loves being able to worship God through music and being able to lead
others in doing the same.
HARVEST OF GENEROSITY FUNDRAISER: If you would be willing to
help out Harvest of Generosity with their Garden Ministry, pick up a jar
located on the Student Ministry Counter and fill it with coins. Please
return it to the church by the end of May.

SUNDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY Please join us tonight from 6-7 pm
as we continue our series “Ten Proofs,” based on Bob Dutko’s teachings.
The topic tonight is 10 Proofs against Evolution and fascinating scientific
evidence ignored by the media and left out of school textbooks. Join us
tonight and every Sunday evening through May 29 for a time of fellowship
and study of God’s Word. The topic next Sunday will be 10 Proofs that the
Resurrection really happened.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY Plan to join Harold Kimbel’s Bible
Study at 7:00 pm this Wednesday on “The Works of the Holy Spirit
throughout the Bible.”
SPECIAL SPRING “LIFT” EVENT THIS THURSDAY! (Ladies in
Fellowship Together) Ladies join us this Thursday for the last LIFT
women’s event until fall. See details on the insert. The deadline to
sign up is today.
YOUNG COUPLES NIGHT OUT! If you have been married 15 years or
less, you are invited to join us on Saturday, April 30, from 5-8:30 pm for
a Bowling+Pizza+Banana Split Outing! We will be meeting at Northland
Bowling Lanes (308 N. River Dr.) at 5:00. After bowling 2 games, we will
walk next door to Pizza Hut for dinner and then head over to Pastor Gary
and Sue’s home for Banana Splits! Bring money for pizza and the price for
bowling plus shoes is $6 per person (special deal since we are with
