DECEMBER 18 6-8 :30 PM
SR. HIGH CHRISTMAS PARTY @ THE CHURCH
DECEMBER 22 6-8 PM

Join Pastor Rob Renberg on Sunday, December 1 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for an
informative time of learning about Parkside Bible Church. Pastor Rob will be
sharing the core values and mission-driven focus that provide the foundation
for our ministry. This “Dessert & Discussion” provides a place to connect with
others on your spiritual journey and it will show you how to make a difference
and enjoy the community that comes through journeying together here at
Parkside.
Here’s an opportunity to begin finding your way in the life of our church and to
catch a glimpse of Parkside’s vision to impact people for Jesus Christ as we
serve our community, encouraging personal spiritual growth in an atmosphere
of grace, forgiveness and acceptance.
We will be looking at our mission and vision and the biblical convictions that
define us and make Parkside the special place that it is! This class is also a
prerequisite for membership, but many participate as an information gathering
starting point as well. Nursery will be provided if needed. Please RSVP with the
tear off slip below so that we know how many people to plan for.
P.S. You don’t have to become a member if you attend this class! If you just
want to know more about Parkside Bible Church, feel free to be a part of this
informative time of fellowship and learning! RSVP and just come!
P.S.S. If you have already attended a Pastor’s Class in the past, you have
fulfilled the “meeting” requirement for membership and don’t have to
attend again (unless you’d like a great dessert!). Check the box below.
Tear off and place in offering plate

What’s the most
important room
in our church?

The Nursery!

That’s right, the Nursery! A key element of our vision is to reach
families in the Holland area with the gospel and a well rounded
balance of opportunities for spiritual growth. Studies show that
parents make their decision to stay at a church because of the quality
of preaching, friendliness, and most importantly — the Nursery!

Our Nursery is central to our mission.
If you have a heart for sharing the love of Jesus with the “littlest of
these,” then we want you to be a part of our Nursery ministry!
Please consider helping during one of our regular services.
You can expect to serve once about every 2-3 months.

If you want to become a part of this special ministry that
really makes a difference, then fill out this reply today!
(You don’t have to do anything to remain on the
Nursery Rotation.)
Parents of Nursery aged Children (infant - 2 years old): Please sign
up & take a turn with the childcare for this ministry. Your participation
on a regular basis is necessary to it’s success and impact!
Attending a Protection Seminar is required for this ministry.
Contact Sharon Amundsen if you have any questions!
Please tear off and place in the offering plate or send to the church office.

ïČ YES! I am willing to serve the Lord by serving our families in
the Nursery during the morning worship service (10:45 - 12:00)!

handouts at the Welcome Center for your friends, work or a business
that you frequent. Invite your friends via email and post it on Facebook

TOYS FOR TOTS AND
FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY!
This year we are again participating in the Toys For
Tots Drive as well as our own drive to help some of
our church family. Gifts for teens and babies are very
much in demand. If you would like to donate, please
place your unwrapped toys in the Toys For Tots box
located near the church office.
This week, November 17-23, our youth group will be participating
in both the D&W Fresh Market and Family Fare Cash for Class
programs to earn money for their group. As a “yes” card holder,
you need to link your card to Parkside‟s youth group (99456) by
visiting www.myyesrewards.com to and clicking on „My profile.
If you don‟t have a „yes‟ card, you can sign up for one online at
www.myyesrewards.com and clicking on “Join yes” and completing the form. Be sure to
link your card to Parkside - 99456. You can then pick up your „yes‟ card in-store at the

Would you be willing to donate home-baked goods for Parkside‟s Holiday
Arts & Crafts Fair Bake Sale being held at the church next Saturday, Nov. 23,
from 9-3 at the church? All bake sale money will be going toward Parkside‟s
Youth Outreach Program.
Suggested donations include but are not limited to:

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE
If you would like to help with the Church’s Food Drive for
needy families, please bring your food donations to
church by Nov. 24 and place them on the table located
near the Women’s Ministry Counter. Fresh items such as
rolls, fruits, vegetables, milk, juices, and other items that
might be used for a Thanksgiving meal can be dropped
off on Nov. 24 and we’ll keep them refrigerated until
delivery time. If you would be willing to provide a
meat, a canned ham would be preferred but turkeys
will be accepted. Please contact the church office at 399-4410 or email Judy
at parksidejudy@sbcglobal.net if you have questions.

Fudge or other Holiday Candy
Specialty Items (gluten free, sugar free)

Bringing your “gift” pre-plated will lessen our sale day preparation.
Please mark your item as far as what it is and if there are ingredients in it
that might cause an allergic reaction (i.e nuts.) You do not need to price it.
The following is suggested: 6 or 12 rolls per plate; 6 or 12 cookies per plate;
1 large piece of pie or cake per plate; one large brownie per plate or
4-6 per plate; 6 pieces of fudge or candy per plate, and 4-6 cupcakes
per plate. Whole pies, cakes, and breads would also go over great as
the sale is just before Thanksgiving.
Items can be dropped off at the church this Friday from
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. or on Saturday,
from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
For more information, please see Judy Timmer or call her at
399-4410 or email her at parksidejudy@sbcglobal.net.
For planning purposes, please tear off the bottom half of this form
and place it in the offering plate.

  • 5. What’s the most important room in our church? The Nursery! That’s right, the Nursery! A key element of our vision is to reach families in the Holland area with the gospel and a well rounded balance of opportunities for spiritual growth. Studies show that parents make their decision to stay at a church because of the quality of preaching, friendliness, and most importantly — the Nursery! Our Nursery is central to our mission. If you have a heart for sharing the love of Jesus with the “littlest of these,” then we want you to be a part of our Nursery ministry! Please consider helping during one of our regular services. You can expect to serve once about every 2-3 months. If you want to become a part of this special ministry that really makes a difference, then fill out this reply today! (You don’t have to do anything to remain on the Nursery Rotation.) Parents of Nursery aged Children (infant - 2 years old): Please sign up & take a turn with the childcare for this ministry. Your participation on a regular basis is necessary to it’s success and impact! Attending a Protection Seminar is required for this ministry. Contact Sharon Amundsen if you have any questions! Please tear off and place in the offering plate or send to the church office. ïČ YES!
