Leading Worship this Morning: Guest Allyssa Thompson
(See backside for her philosophy on Worship)
ALLYSSA THOMPSON
Worship Arts Candidate’s Philosophy on Worship
Worship to me is anything that someone does that is
glorifying to God. Worship is not just singing songs; it’s
not music. I can be worshipping God through anything
that I do. Even working at Biggby Coffee, I can
worship God and honor God through the things that I
say and do, interacting with others such as customers
and/or co-workers. Worship is not just contained to a Sunday morn-
ing service. I am passionate about this because many people think of
worship as just happening on Sunday, but we are called to do so much
more than that. Romans 12:1 says: “We are to offer our bodies as
living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God.” To me, that means every-
thing we do in our daily lives should be an act of worship to our
Creator.
HARVEST OF GENEROSITY FUNDRAISER:

Garden Ministry, pick up a jar located on the Student Ministry Counter
