Net Neutrality In Internet Service Providers
The concept of net neutrality is the fact that all internet service providers, or ISPs, have to treat all
data on the internet the same, without regard to content, platform, etc(Wikipedia). The main purpose
of this law is to prevent ISPs from executing abusive business practices that harm education and
promote censorship. Without net neutrality ISPs would have control over the internet and what the
consumers see. What this means is that companies can pay ISPs to be part of their service, and the
companies that can't pay will be slowed down. There are no downsides to net neutrality to the
consumer, however from a business point of view ISPs won't be making as much
money(Debate.org). However that downside is easily outweighed by the several harms

A Business Phone Service Provider Essay
San Diego, California Business Phone Service Providers Finding a business phone service provider
in San Diego, CA can be confusing at times. But it is a very important first step when you are a
business owner, whether you are just starting up or have been in business for years. The telephone is
still the first form of communication most customers and vendors go for when they want to get in
touch with a business, especially if that business happens to be further away. You need a phone
service that is both affordable and reliable, so before you make the decision of what company to go
with, do your research. There are two main phone service providers that you can choose from, either
a traditional analog service or the newer VoIP phone service. You should understand just what the
difference is between the two before you make your final decision. You can compare below the
difference between these two types of providers. What is Business VoIP Phone Service? The more
recent type of phone service, VoIP, stands for voice over Internet protocol. This is a new alternative
to using the more traditional analog phone lines of the past. VoIP phone service in San Diego, CA
has been around for nearly a decade but has just now become more popular among business owners.
Many people are making the switch to VoIP from their traditional PSTN lines. Newer companies,
especially small start–ups, are also more likely to choose this type of service for their company.
They'll get the same call

Analysis Of Communications Service Providers ( Csps )
Communications service providers (CSPs) all over the globe are seeing an unprecedented rise in
volume, variety and velocity of information due to next generation mobile network roll–outs,
increased use of smartphones, the rise of social media, and the impending explosion of the Internet
of Things (IoT). There are two additional "Vs" to consider as well: veracity and value. Collectively,
this outlines the big data challenge that CSPs face today. There is more data from more sources
being generated faster every day, and CSPs must determine which bits and bytes have to most
impact on business decisions. In this competitive climate, the CSPs who can tackle the big data
challenge will differentiate from competitors, gain market share and ... Show more content on

Now, the majority mobile users use smartphones, and as a result, consume far more data than feature
phone users. This has driven traffic levels through the roof, and, coupled with the highly competitive
mobile market, created a need for better customer care. In fact, as we 've written in Pipeline
numerous times, the customer experience is a major differentiating factor in telecommunications and
one of the keys to success.
One way to leverage big data is through proactive intelligence. By combining multiple data streams
into an analytical framework, service providers can understand patterns, behaviors, and service
characteristics in exciting new ways, and build automated response solutions that head off problems
before they occur. A perfect application of this is proactive customer service. By correlating
network, application, location, and customer data, along with third–party, unstructured data sources,
into a single tool, customer service agents can be presented with a solution before a customer utters
a word. One service provider that Pipeline interviewed for this story is able to pull from 65 data
sources in real–time, and display resolutions in less than half a second to care agents. This is clearly
a competitive advantage, as it reduces handling times and therefore lowers costs, and delivers rapid
issue resolution to customers. This can be further extended to self–care portals, and even further
modified to

Net Neutrality Is The Principle Of Internet Service Providers
Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and
applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking certain products or
webpages. Net neutrality is like the Equal Protection Clause (5th Amendment) in that it is the idea
that Internet service providers (ISPs) and governments should treat all site data equally. In other
words, no one should be throttling speeds or blocking certain sites outright because of their content,
author or country of origin. The alternative is called a "closed internet" where companies are
allowed to restrict access to services and sites by exerting control over the "broadband...the pipe
through which we get access to the Internet" (Podhoretz 2010). Generally in a capitalist society,
competition is seen as a positive motivator because it creates an efficient marketplace. However, this
system breaks down when supply is artificially limited. Consumers expect to pay more for better
products, whether it is a high definition cameras or a custom pair of boots. The US market is based
on the theory that competition stimulates the economy and generates the best products. The
cable/internet market is unusual in this regard because there is very little competition between ISPs"
(Podhoretz 2010). The main reason for this is because market is saturated and the entry fees are
incredibly high (Brodkin 2014). The companies that have footholds in this market have invested

The Top Cloud Service Providers
The top Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) in our market are various. Most of them have their special
advantages for surviving in fierce business competitions. Some may have advantages on mobile app,
some may have advantages on languages, customer help and support services or prices, or others
may pay more attention on security protection and their reputation improvements. In this
assignment, I picked up four top CSPs with comparisons of their functionality, cost, security, mobile
access and customer support services. The four CSPs are Apple iCloud, Google, OpenDrive, and
Amazon.

– Broadband
Basically, broadband is, kind of, like a 'catch–all' term that handled every kind of internet
connection that is not dial–up and that is steady and constant. It was basically a way for internet
providers to differentiate between dial–up, back when dial–up was popular, and the newer DSL,
cable, FiOS; all kinds of, you know, newer networks that are just always on, always connected and
much faster than dial–up. That 's all it means. Basically, a way to describe how broad the band is,
that the data is being transferred on to your house or office. What made broadband so amazing was,
for the first time, you could use your computer and if somebody picks up the phone, it doesn 't ruin
your connection. Also, you can leave your computer on all night to download files, and the files get
to your computer much faster. It also enables usages, like online gaming, or video streaming, or
video conferencing, which you really couldn 't do before.

Customer Service Services At The Service Provider Essay
According to Lucas (2009), great customer service is presented by knowledgeable, capable, and
enthusiastic employees who deliver products and services to their customers and create consumer
loyalty. From that point, it could be claimed that the best employees will build the best service
which surpass customer expectation and the result of that action is when customer repurchase or talk
to another potential customers. In short, customer service is the action when service provider gives
customer what they desire. In addition, Gronroos (1983) proposed that service value is also affected
by the service provider. In this case, the term 'service provider' can be defined as the company
workers. Moreover, employees achieve the consumer satisfaction not only by the price but also by
providing the excellent service. Different expectation comes from different customer and the
satisfied result depends on the experience or purpose of each customer. By defining the different
between customer gender, customer age or level of customer social status, service provider can
create perfect strategies to finish company profit goal which comes from customer loyalty budget.
The important goal in achieving consumer loyalty is developing consumer satisfaction. By
concentrate in customer service, company provides the best care, the great customer appreciation
and the special atmosphere which comfort customer or create memorable experience and the result
is that they want to reuse the service.

The Internet Service Providers Are Not Allowed...
The whole idea of net neutrality is that it allows Americans to be able to access everything. It doesn't
matter the source; internet services providers are not allowed discriminate against specific websites.
The problem that Americans wanted to address was that companies were doing . They specifically
wanted to address how companies were hindering with the websites they could access and what
cannot . Americans did notice and turned to the federal government specifically the Federal
Communications Commission to step in (The FCC is an independent government agency) and
resolve this national issue. They asked the FCC to "codify the "presumption" of network neutrality
into actual regulations to prevent the Internet Service Providers from engaging in preferential or
discriminatory treatment for financial gain or just because they felt like it (Public Knowledge)." In
other words, Americans wanted to stop ISP's to stop hindering with the content they access for
financial gain , they needed a gatekeeper to prevent ISP' s from doing this and in so the FCC created
the Open Internet Order in 2010. In fact, the "FCC enacted the Open Internet Order in 2010 to
prevent large telecommunications firms like Verizon and Comcast from stifling competition and
innovation online ( Public Knowledge)." If there were no neutrality rules, Internet Service Providers
can prevent users from seeing certain websites just by slowing the speed for services like Netflix
and Hulu and even redirect

Neutrality: Should The Service Providers Offer The Right...
Net neutrality
Who has the right to decide how fast people can browse the internet? There is a question if the
service providers should or should not offer a tiered system, in which higher paying customers
would get access to a higher speed internet. Sounds about right, don't it? The more you pay the more
you get.
According to one perspective, in all fairness the access to all of the content on the internet should be
at the same speed for everyone. The people who provide the internet should not be able to separate
specific people or companies by giving them access to a higher speed internet. The playing field of
the internet should be equal to all and no one should pay a little more to boost up the speed of their
internet. I don't completely agree with this perspective because I feel that if a person or a company is
willing to pay to get a higher speed for their internet, they should be allowed to do so. It doesn't
necessarily have to mean that your internet would get any slower. Basically, if you want to pay extra
to get a higher speed internet, you can do so. If you don't however, you don't need to and it won't
change anything in the speed that you are comfortable browsing in. ... Show more content on

If they see that giving preference to some content over others is for the best, they should be allowed
to do so. Also I as a customer should be allowed to pay a small fee to get access to a higher speed
internet. This perspective seems quite fair when thinking about the providing companies. The
business is theirs and therefore they should be allowed to decide how they want to handle it. On the
other hand, if the access to all of the content is in the hands of the providers, they may decide to
charge more for the use of certain websites. This could get unfair if looking at the individuals who
might not be able to afford such a

When you finish this series, you are either going to dislike me, or dislike me more, and I mean this

present my view from the technical side of the scope. While I enjoyed the manifesto, I couldn't help
but notice the same tried and true "follow the herd" conformity roles that too many security

Who noticed it, and how fast did they notice?" Testing for me consists of more than just firing off

HONEST During my experiences, testing, and analysis, I have found repeatedly, that I can get in
and out of organizations with, and without the use of exploits. I can bypass policies, that either don't
exist, aren't monitored, or aren't enforced. Processes that should exist, and security baselines are
lacking or don't exist, and often times, the organizations I test, were often tested by other companies
that issued reports with flying colors. "Look, such pie charts! You're all green! Green lights for
everyone!" These tests in my opinion were done by horrible security companies. To illustrate this,
here is the most memorable quote from the CIO in front of the CSO, CISO, and multiple individuals
from multiple teams at a hospital: "I feel like you came in here, and you were making fun of my
security." This came after me and my team took control over 95% of the infrastructure of a 800+ bed

The supply – chain and logistics industry includes companies that move raw materials, finished
goods, packages, and documents across the globe. It is one of the main phases in value chain
concept in international business. The massive increase in the international trade has increased has
increased the complexity of company supply chains. MNEs and other internationalizing firms

Robust processes are at the heart of supply chain performance. Internally, robust processes help to
reduce costs by eliminating errors, and help to increase dependability by making processes more
certain. When quality was positioned second to sales growth and cost, even the iconic Toyota Motor
Company's brand suffered – as a string of recalls and safety concerns in recent years has shown. In
many logistics situations, 'quality of service' is concerned with selecting the right quantity of the
right product in the right sequence in response to customer orders. For example, store orders must be
picked from a range of thousands of skus (stock keeping units) at a Tesco RDC. This must be carried
out accurately (correct sku, correct quantity) against tight delivery schedules day in and day out.
Pick accuracy (for example, 99.5 per cent correct sku and correct quantity) is widely used to
measure the quality of this operation. And increasing requirements for in–store efficiencies mean
that categories of product (for example, shampoos and toothpastes) need to be picked in a set
sequence to facilitate direct–to–shelf delivery at the store. Logistics service providers who can
implement and maintain the highest standards of service quality place themselves at an advantage
over those who cannot. Secondly, time advantage. Time measures how long a customer has to wait
in order to receive a given product or service. Volkswagen calls this time the customer to

Testing As A Service Provider
Testing as a Service @ Optum Global Solutions Introduction: Testing as a Service (TaaS) is an
outsourcing model in which testing activities associated with some of an organization's business
activities are performed by a service provider rather than employees. TaaS may involve engaging
consultants to help and advice employees or simply outsourcing an area of testing to a service
provider. Usually, a company will still do some testing in–house. TaaS is most suitable for
specialized testing efforts that don't require a lot of in–depth knowledge of the design or the system.
Services that are well–suited for the TaaS model include automated regression testing, performance

And some companies cannot afford to invest in best–of–breed solutions when testing and
automation is not their core competency. One model used to handle specialized test efforts is to
augment the staff with highly–skilled consultants. Another option is to use "Managed Service"
solutions where organizations pay for full–service testing efforts, paying for the people resources
needed during the period of time when specialized skills are necessary. "As a Service" solutions are
becoming a popular way for organizations to get a service, without the investments or risks
necessary by doing the work in–house. Often taking advantage of cloud computing and utility
pricing, this model allows organizations to buy what they need, when they need it. Testing as a
Service (TaaS) solutions are popular for complex testing efforts requiring a specialized skill set,
expensive testing tools or a large amount of resources. When would you want to use TaaS? Certainly
TaaS will not cover all of your testing needs. Regardless of test efforts that are outsourced, a good
amount of testing should be done in–house when a project is under development. Unit tests,
functional tests, and integration tests that require knowledge of the system should be performed
throughout the lifecycle with a strong partnership between developers and testers. However, for
tasks that can be automated, but require a specialized skill set or tools, it may be best to use an
outsourced solution rather than try to hire

RR communications is a service provider with multiple business segments. The key line of their
business include internet, mobile, landline and cable TV services. Currently company operates its
four key lines of business individually (Multiple sales systems, databases and customer service

main problems RR communications facing. The first one is no central IT system and the second
problem is corporate politics. Company's vice president of IT, Vince Patton, trying to create a

is trying to redesign the company's internal computer infrastructure, centralize the purchasing
budget, create an enterprise architecture, put tools, metrics and policies in place. Vince fired the four

has to organize and plan and execute the plans. The next goal is to have a single customer service
center to serve customers in all four business's key lines. Problem with the remained divisional CIOs
is that they believe that centralized IT system would increase the bureaucracy and it would take
away their powers. There are few problems of lacking IM strategy in RR communications loss of

Service Quality and Client Satisfaction: Cases of Multiple...
Since the early 1980s customer satisfaction surveys have maintained a conspicuous place in the
research agenda (Allen & Rao, 2000). Quality is the core strategy that organizations execute to bring
better values to customers for gaining a competitive advantage. Quality is conformance to
requirements (Crosby, 1979). However Juran et al. (1974) see quality as fitness for use while
according to Kanji (1990) quality is satisfying the customer's requirement continually. Service
quality is the ability of the organization to meet or exceed customer expectations (Kitchroen, 2004).

Internet Services Providers : An Internet Service Provider
Internet Service Providers:
An internet service provider (ISP) is a company that provides you with an internet connection.
Companies connect you to the internet in two different ways, by using a phone line, also known as

Web Hosting Services:
A web hosting server is a server which provides web services. They are often used for hosting
websites but they can also be used for hosting files such as games, images, music etc. There are
three main types of web hosting. 1) Dedicated web hosting where the server is reserved for a single
website and is leased. 2) Shared web hosting, where there are many various website on the same
server. 3) Virtual private server hosting, a mix of the first two different servers except the website is
hosted on its own virtual server so it has no interruptions and won't be affected by other customers
web sites.
Domain Names and Structures:
Domain names are used to identify IP addresses. Domain names are used in URLs to identify web
pages. For example in http://google.com/settings , the domain name is google.com. However the

16% farmers are very satisfied and 65.1% satisfied. On the contrary little less than half of the
respondents were either dissatisfied (11.3%) or in no opinion (32.4 %) category with extension
service method. Overall satisfaction percentage shows that a little more than half of the respondents

Google, Inc. And The Chinese International Gateway...
Introduction
Google, Inc. started service in China through Google.com, a version of its homepage in Chinese
language. Although it is operated outside the country, the search results of search requests from
China are monitored and filtered by the Chinese international gateway Internet service providers
(ISP). Two years after the start of service in China, Google.com was down for two weeks and was
slow and unreliable after reinstatement. As a result, Google, Inc. was losing market share in China.
With the objective of developing a more sustainable strategy, the company conducted an analysis
and comparative study. The output was a decision to establish physical presence through Google.cn,
a search engine that is based in China. However, the search results in Google.cn are subjected to self
– censorship and government monitoring and filtering as required by Chinese laws of the ISPs that
are operating locally. Because of this decision, Google, Inc. is faced with criticism and bad publicity.
The initial solution was to keep both Google.com and Google.cn.
Problem Statement Google, Inc. has to address negative publicity and decide on the best strategy in
China.
Environmental Analysis The totalitarian government of China monitors the content of all locally
operating ISPs and screens the search results of both local and international ISPs. Other
international ISPs such as Yahoo! and Microsoft have local operations in China and thus have to

Net Neutrality, or the Separation Between Internet Service...
Scott Cleland from Net Competition said that net neutrality legislations "mean less privacy for all
Americans, as Net neutrality would require more government monitoring and surveillance of
Internet traffic" (qtd. from "Net Neutrality"). But what is he talking about anyway? Net neutrality, or
the separation between internet service providers (ISP's) and the content being retrieved through
their networks, is an extremely hot topic nowadays. The ideals of net neutrality can be compared to
the way you would use electricity in your home. You do not pay your power company a "toaster fee"
just so you can plug in your toaster, or a "light bulb fee" just so you can turn on your lights (Gordon;
Ammori). Similarly, net neutrality states that ISP's ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

procedures to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of personal information the operator
collects and maintains (New Jersey). While the government does have the ability to monitor network
connections, those connections will stay confidential and secure. There will be no loss of privacy,
despite Cleland's conclusion of the opposite. Another consideration that should be made is our right
to free speech. Larry Pratt, director of Gun Owners of America, said that the Brady Campaign (an
anti–gun violence group) and Gun Owners of America "should have the same fair use of the internet
highway", and that "if we want to buy 100 units of internet broadband capability, that should be the
same price to us as somebody else... [we should] be able to get our message out regardless of what
[ISP's] may or may not like" ("Moyers"). Without net neutrality, if a certain ISP does not agree with
the beliefs of Gun Owners of America, they could discriminate against the group by slowing down

Internet Service Providers ( Isps )
Internet Service Providers
Internet Service Providers (ISPs) is a term that refers to one of the many companies that provide
your basic Internet services, including personal or business access to the Internet. For a monthly fee,
the service provider usually provides a software package, username, password and access phone
number. They will usually give you a basic modem, so you can then log on to the Internet and then
browse the World Wide Web.
Web hosting services
Web hosting services is a type of Internet hosting service that allows an individual or organization to
make a website accessible on the World Wide Web, they also let you register website names. There
are many examples of Web hosting services such as Yahoos small business web hosting service
which is free.
Domain structure
Domain structure mainly consists of information to the left of a web address and the letter
combination to the right of it in a Web address. The content to the right of the punctuation is the
domain, while the content on the left of the punctuation is the domain name of the website. This
single method of organising a domain name allows easier access to websites as everyone knows how
to set the URL out.
Domain name registrars
Domain name registrars such as godaddy.com help you to register a domain name that you may
want to own. Once you have registered a domain name then anyone who searches for that domain

Without a data backup system like this, you hand the beating heart of your business over into the
hands of your hackers and hope they'll be gentle.
How Ransomware Works
This virus will lock down all your data and demand a ransom usually between $200 to $4,000 for
the safe return of your precious data. Desperate business owners have sometimes paid the hackers
big ransoms only to have the sadistic criminals delete their data anyhow. Some businesses who paid
the ransom fees include:
Los Angeles Valley College–$28,000
University of Calgary–$20,000
When the entirety of your revenue hinges on the files at your company, ransomware can snap the
backbone of your company and cripple it to where you can never get up. In fact, 60 percent of the
victims who suffer a ransomware attack close their doors and never open them again. With a private

Net Neutrality: Internet Service Providers
Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers (ISPs) should allow all consumers
access to content and applications on an equal basis, without showing favor to a source or blocking
certain content, applications and even websites. This concept is sometimes referred to as "open
internet". For example, an ISP should be prohibited from slowing down streaming content such as
Netflix to your TV, simply because it is being provided by a competing company. As a consumer of
such content, we are stuck in the middle of this battle between ISPs and content providers. Among
the content providers that support net neutrality are Apple, Google, Netflix, and Hulu. On the
opposing side, we have major ISPs such as AT&T, Verizon, Comcast and Time warner cable.
Without net neutrality laws and regulation, ISPs could be free to charge extra fees to content
companies and essentially us as consumers of that content. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Internet Service Providers Essay
We think we can do whatever we want to on the Internet, but can we really? In this day and age,
people log on and surf the web without a second thought, and often take the freedoms of the Internet
for granted. One of the most valuable things about the Internet is that it's open and equal. Anyone
can access or create new websites, and as of now, each website is treated the same. Unfortunately,
this freedom is being threatened and the Internet as we know it could change for good.
Net Neutrality is the idea that Internet providers should treat all websites and Internet services the
same. Major internet providers are now making the argument that they should be allowed to charge
their customers more money, depending on what the customer uses ... Show more content on

This new policy would introduce hurt more then it would help. Institutions like public libraries,
schools and other places that offer Wi–Fi for use would have to pay tremendous costs. Schools, for
example, are having a hard enough time obtaining the funding for materials like school supplies or
for qualified teachers, and to add the cost of individual websites that students need access to is
unfair and in some schools, impossible.
This proposal would also allow ISP's to block certain websites all together. For example, Verizon
could block Google completely, forcing their customers to pay for the Verizon search engine. Not
only would it add extra costs to your internet bill, but it would also create a tiered internet. This
means that not only would customers have to pay for certain websites, but those same costly sites
would have to pay the ISPs as well. A tiered internet means that a few websites would get high–
speed priority and be favored over other sites. To be placed in these high speed tiers, the websites
would have to pay huge amounts of money to the ISPs. Why should the Internet Service Providers
have full, unrestricted access to control everything that goes on online?
A tiered Internet would effect everyone, and not always in a good way. If you are an avid Netflix
user, and are constantly watching shows, then the fact that their Internet service speed was lightning
fast would be enjoyable. But if you had to go on a smaller site that was less widely

1.2 Agricultural Extension System: the Bangladesh case In Bangladesh a multitude of agencies from
private and public origin offer extension support to the farmers (ASIRP, 2006). Although recent
years witness a noticeable change in agricultural extension service providers, the public institutions
still remain the dominant. The new entrants to the field include non–governmental organizations
(NGOs), the private sector agribusiness enterprises and grass–root institutions eg. Self–Help and
micro–credit Groups involving farming communities (WB, 2005).
DAE is the key department under the Ministry of Agriculture which provides extension support to
crop sector farmers. This organization has country wide coverage and operational staff. Other public
organizations involved in providing extension service in crop sectors are Agricultural Information

Several other studies posit that the performance of agricultural extension is unsatisfactory and a
remarkable proportion of potential clients remain out of extension service (Haq, 2011; Porimol et
al., 2008; Daily Star, 2008). In addition public agricultural extension is often criticized for being too
top–down as well as large and medium farmer centered (Swanson, 2011; World Bank, 2005;
Sobhan, 1995).
In general extension services offered by private organizations is conceived as better than public
extension service although empirical evidences are scarce. Rather extension service offered by
private companies can logically be criticized for high profit making intension and ignoring
development motive (Haque, 2010). On the other hand NGOs may be little ahead in terms of contact
frequency (ASIRP, 2003) and dealing with special farmer groups such as landless, marginal, etc.
(Birner et al., 2010; Haque, 2010) but the quality of service and skill of extension of worker is not
out of the question. Nonetheless NGOs are commonly criticized for working in fashionable
locations, limited capacity for agricultural technology development and dissemination, more
accountable to funding agencies than clients (Farrington, 1997).

Companies like Intuit with their QuickBooks product are starting to offer a cloud based version of

The Cellular Service Provider Market
This Market Essay is based on the cellular service provider market. The current United States cell
phone market is made up of four major providers: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and TMobile. This market
is a perfect example of an Oligopoly, which outlines a small number of sellers in a particular market
where serious price competition doesn't happen. This allows the small number of sellers to
collaborate to keep prices high for the consumer. I chose this topic because it is a clear example of
how an oligopoly functions in today's economy, and the impact it has on hundreds of millions of
consumers. Cell phones have become one of the most relevant, significant pieces of technology in
today's society. Not only have we become increasingly dependent on these high–tech pieces of
hardware in our individual daily lives, but these can also be considered a matter of national defense
in which our very safety and well–being potentially be compromised. To own a cellular phone is not
enough. The phone has little use to the consumer unless it is attached to consumer provider plan.
These carriers do not manufacture the cell phones directly. The providers place their software in the
phones that they obtain through the manufacturer suppliers. The cellular contract provided by your
carrier activates the phone to towers they have supplied which allows the consumer to then use the
device in a typical manner. The United States has an estimated that 91% of American's use cell
phones. Of

Canadian Chemical, A Global Provider Of Better Quality...
The current United States economy, more specifically the housing market, has had great affects on
the construction industry with unemployment currently floating around 30%. Canadian Chemical, a
global provider of better quality products and services is one of the many commercial construction
companies that are experiencing problems. More construction companies are following a, "the low
bidder gets the job," mentality versus providing true quality products and customer service, which in
return results in a company like Canadian Chemical to lose sales. TJ Wood who is the Vice President
of Sales for Canadian Chemical understands the dilemma and is unsure how to better generate sales
for the company. After reviewing the sales representatives, products being sold, selling expenses,
and the income statement it is evident changes need to be made in order to remain relevant as a top

An overall problem for the industry is the lack of quality products and customer service as a result
of extremely low prices. Many companies are profiting off cheap products that are produced quickly

Application For The Cloud Service Provider
Applications in today's world consume resources on a wide variety of scale, one application could
be CPU based while another could be network based which mean each application would saturate a
few resources and under–utilize a few. With cloud computing, Pay as you go enables you to pay
only for the utilized. For example, an application consumes only 50% of the processing power; you
need not pay for the entire set of machines and would only pay for the utilized rate and cloud
providers offer competitive prices today. To add to it operating costs like building space, power,
cooling, maintenance of servers and network will be on the cloud service provider. The installation,
upgrades and patches are easily done as cloud provider usually relies on virtual machines instead of
physical equipment. According to a study, in the year of 2000, 45% of IT budget was spent on
capital expenditure whereas only 6% of the resulting server capacity was utilized1. In this scenario,
in the next couple of years the cost of server maintenance would exceed the capital expenditure
invested with very less utilization ratio. Datacenters of large scales can reduce the economies and
time of computing to a large extent and also contribute to the Green IT initiative saving the
environment. Cloud also offers potential benefits like scalability where adding additional resources
can be done in matter of hours and also eliminates the need for huge capital expenditure which

  • 3. Net Neutrality In Internet Service Providers The concept of net neutrality is the fact that all internet service providers, or ISPs, have to treat all data on the internet the same, without regard to content, platform, etc(Wikipedia). The main purpose of this law is to prevent ISPs from executing abusive business practices that harm education and promote censorship. Without net neutrality ISPs would have control over the internet and what the consumers see. What this means is that companies can pay ISPs to be part of their service, and the companies that can't pay will be slowed down. There are no downsides to net neutrality to the consumer, however from a business point of view ISPs won't be making as much money(Debate.org). However that downside is easily outweighed by the several harms ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. A Business Phone Service Provider Essay San Diego, California Business Phone Service Providers Finding a business phone service provider in San Diego, CA can be confusing at times. But it is a very important first step when you are a business owner, whether you are just starting up or have been in business for years. The telephone is still the first form of communication most customers and vendors go for when they want to get in touch with a business, especially if that business happens to be further away. You need a phone service that is both affordable and reliable, so before you make the decision of what company to go with, do your research. There are two main phone service providers that you can choose from, either a traditional analog service or the newer VoIP phone service. You should understand just what the difference is between the two before you make your final decision. You can compare below the difference between these two types of providers. What is Business VoIP Phone Service? The more recent type of phone service, VoIP, stands for voice over Internet protocol. This is a new alternative to using the more traditional analog phone lines of the past. VoIP phone service in San Diego, CA has been around for nearly a decade but has just now become more popular among business owners. Many people are making the switch to VoIP from their traditional PSTN lines. Newer companies, especially small start–ups, are also more likely to choose this type of service for their company. • 9. Analysis Of Communications Service Providers ( Csps ) Communications service providers (CSPs) all over the globe are seeing an unprecedented rise in volume, variety and velocity of information due to next generation mobile network roll–outs, increased use of smartphones, the rise of social media, and the impending explosion of the Internet of Things (IoT). There are two additional "Vs" to consider as well: veracity and value. Collectively, this outlines the big data challenge that CSPs face today. There is more data from more sources being generated faster every day, and CSPs must determine which bits and bytes have to most impact on business decisions. In this competitive climate, the CSPs who can tackle the big data challenge will differentiate from competitors, gain market share and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Now, the majority mobile users use smartphones, and as a result, consume far more data than feature phone users. This has driven traffic levels through the roof, and, coupled with the highly competitive mobile market, created a need for better customer care. In fact, as we 've written in Pipeline numerous times, the customer experience is a major differentiating factor in telecommunications and one of the keys to success. One way to leverage big data is through proactive intelligence. By combining multiple data streams into an analytical framework, service providers can understand patterns, behaviors, and service characteristics in exciting new ways, and build automated response solutions that head off problems before they occur. A perfect application of this is proactive customer service. By correlating network, application, location, and customer data, along with third–party, unstructured data sources, into a single tool, customer service agents can be presented with a solution before a customer utters a word. One service provider that Pipeline interviewed for this story is able to pull from 65 data sources in real–time, and display resolutions in less than half a second to care agents. This is clearly a competitive advantage, as it reduces handling times and therefore lowers costs, and delivers rapid issue resolution to customers. This can be further extended to self–care portals, and even further modified to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 11. Net Neutrality Is The Principle Of Internet Service Providers Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking certain products or webpages. Net neutrality is like the Equal Protection Clause (5th Amendment) in that it is the idea that Internet service providers (ISPs) and governments should treat all site data equally. In other words, no one should be throttling speeds or blocking certain sites outright because of their content, author or country of origin. The alternative is called a "closed internet" where companies are allowed to restrict access to services and sites by exerting control over the "broadband...the pipe through which we get access to the Internet" (Podhoretz 2010). Generally in a capitalist society, competition is seen as a positive motivator because it creates an efficient marketplace. However, this system breaks down when supply is artificially limited. Consumers expect to pay more for better products, whether it is a high definition cameras or a custom pair of boots. The US market is based on the theory that competition stimulates the economy and generates the best products. The cable/internet market is unusual in this regard because there is very little competition between ISPs" (Podhoretz 2010). The main reason for this is because market is saturated and the entry fees are incredibly high (Brodkin 2014). The companies that have footholds in this market have invested large sums in ... It was basically a way for internet providers to differentiate between dial–up, back when dial–up was popular, and the newer DSL, cable, FiOS; all kinds of, you know, newer networks that are just always on, always connected and much faster than dial–up. That 's all it means. Basically, a way to describe how broad the band is, that the data is being transferred on to your house or office. • 18. Customer Service Services At The Service Provider Essay According to Lucas (2009), great customer service is presented by knowledgeable, capable, and enthusiastic employees who deliver products and services to their customers and create consumer loyalty. From that point, it could be claimed that the best employees will build the best service which surpass customer expectation and the result of that action is when customer repurchase or talk to another potential customers. In short, customer service is the action when service provider gives customer what they desire. In addition, Gronroos (1983) proposed that service value is also affected by the service provider. • 22. The Internet Service Providers Are Not Allowed... The whole idea of net neutrality is that it allows Americans to be able to access everything. It doesn't matter the source; internet services providers are not allowed discriminate against specific websites. The problem that Americans wanted to address was that companies were doing . They specifically wanted to address how companies were hindering with the websites they could access and what cannot . Americans did notice and turned to the federal government specifically the Federal Communications Commission to step in (The FCC is an independent government agency) and resolve this national issue. They asked the FCC to "codify the "presumption" of network neutrality into actual regulations to prevent the Internet Service Providers from engaging in preferential or discriminatory treatment for financial gain or just because they felt like it (Public Knowledge)." In other words, Americans wanted to stop ISP's to stop hindering with the content they access for financial gain , they needed a gatekeeper to prevent ISP' s from doing this and in so the FCC created the Open Internet Order in 2010. In fact, the "FCC enacted the Open Internet Order in 2010 to prevent large telecommunications firms like Verizon and Comcast from stifling competition and innovation online ( Public Knowledge)." If there were no neutrality rules, Internet Service Providers can prevent users from seeing certain websites just by slowing the speed for services like Netflix and Hulu and even redirect ... • 24. Neutrality: Should The Service Providers Offer The Right... Net neutrality Who has the right to decide how fast people can browse the internet? There is a question if the service providers should or should not offer a tiered system, in which higher paying customers would get access to a higher speed internet. Sounds about right, don't it? The more you pay the more you get. According to one perspective, in all fairness the access to all of the content on the internet should be at the same speed for everyone. The people who provide the internet should not be able to separate specific people or companies by giving them access to a higher speed internet. The playing field of the internet should be equal to all and no one should pay a little more to boost up the speed of their internet. I don't completely agree with this perspective because I feel that if a person or a company is willing to pay to get a higher speed for their internet, they should be allowed to do so. It doesn't necessarily have to mean that your internet would get any slower. Basically, if you want to pay extra to get a higher speed internet, you can do so. If you don't however, you don't need to and it won't change anything in the speed that you are comfortable browsing in. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If they see that giving preference to some content over others is for the best, they should be allowed to do so. Also I as a customer should be allowed to pay a small fee to get access to a higher speed internet. This perspective seems quite fair when thinking about the providing companies. The business is theirs and therefore they should be allowed to decide how they want to handle it. On the other hand, if the access to all of the content is in the hands of the providers, they may decide to charge more for the use of certain websites. • 26. Net Neutrality Is The Principle Of Internet Service... Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking certain products or webpages. The companies that have footholds in this market have

The following is a response to the CISO Manifesto, and it is coming from the Security Service Provider / Solutions Provider sector. While I don't represent my industry as a whole, I will present my view from the technical side of the scope. While I enjoyed the manifesto, I couldn't help but notice the same tried and true "follow the herd" conformity roles that too many security professionals follow, especially up at the higher end of the spectrum. I can bypass policies, that either don't exist, aren't monitored, or aren't enforced. Processes that should exist, and security baselines are lacking or don't exist, and often times, the organizations I test, were often tested by other companies that issued reports with flying colors. "Look, such pie charts! You're all green! Green lights for everyone!" These tests in my opinion were done by horrible security companies. To illustrate this, here is the most memorable quote from the CIO in front of the CSO, CISO, and multiple individuals from multiple teams at a hospital: "I feel like you came in here, and you were making fun of my security." This came after me and my team took control over 95% of the infrastructure of a 800+ bed hospital. In many logistics situations, 'quality of service' is concerned with selecting the right quantity of the right product in the right sequence in response to customer orders. For example, store orders must be picked from a range of thousands of skus (stock keeping units) at a Tesco RDC. This must be carried out accurately (correct sku, correct quantity) against tight delivery schedules day in and day out. Pick accuracy (for example, 99.5 per cent correct sku and correct quantity) is widely used to measure the quality of this operation. And increasing requirements for in–store efficiencies mean that categories of product (for example, shampoos and toothpastes) need to be picked in a set sequence to facilitate direct–to–shelf delivery at the store. Logistics service providers who can implement and maintain the highest standards of service quality place themselves at an advantage over those who cannot. Secondly, time advantage. Although it is operated outside the country, the search results of search requests from China are monitored and filtered by the Chinese international gateway Internet service providers (ISP). Two years after the start of service in China, Google.com was down for two weeks and was slow and unreliable after reinstatement. As a result, Google, Inc. was losing market share in China. With the objective of developing a more sustainable strategy, the company conducted an analysis and comparative study. The output was a decision to establish physical presence through Google.cn, a search engine that is based in China. However, the search results in Google.cn are subjected to self – censorship and government monitoring and filtering as required by Chinese laws of the ISPs that are operating locally. Because of this decision, Google, Inc. is faced with criticism and bad publicity. The initial solution was to keep both Google.com and Google.cn. Scott Cleland from Net Competition said that net neutrality legislations "mean less privacy for all Americans, as Net neutrality would require more government monitoring and surveillance of Internet traffic" (qtd. from "Net Neutrality"). But what is he talking about anyway? Net neutrality, or the separation between internet service providers (ISP's) and the content being retrieved through their networks, is an extremely hot topic nowadays. The ideals of net neutrality can be compared to the way you would use electricity in your home. Net Neutrality: Internet Service Providers Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers (ISPs) should allow all consumers access to content and applications on an equal basis, without showing favor to a source or blocking certain content, applications and even websites. This concept is sometimes referred to as "open internet". For example, an ISP should be prohibited from slowing down streaming content such as Netflix to your TV, simply because it is being provided by a competing company. As a consumer of such content, we are stuck in the middle of this battle between ISPs and content providers. This new policy would introduce hurt more then it would help. Institutions like public libraries, schools and other places that offer Wi–Fi for use would have to pay tremendous costs. Schools, for example, are having a hard enough time obtaining the funding for materials like school supplies or for qualified teachers, and to add the cost of individual websites that students need access to is unfair and in some schools, impossible. This proposal would also allow ISP's to block certain websites all together. For example, Verizon could block Google completely, forcing their customers to pay for the Verizon search engine. Not only would it add extra costs to your internet bill, but it would also create a tiered internet. This means that not only would customers have to pay for certain websites, but those same costly sites would have to pay the ISPs as well. A tiered internet means that a few websites would get high– speed priority and be favored over other sites. To be placed in these high speed tiers, the websites would have to pay huge amounts of money to the ISPs. Why should the Internet Service Providers have full, unrestricted access to control everything that goes on online? A tiered Internet would effect everyone, and not always in a good way. If you are an avid Netflix user, and are constantly watching shows, then the fact that their Internet service speed was lightning fast would be enjoyable. The new entrants to the field include non–governmental organizations (NGOs), the private sector agribusiness enterprises and grass–root institutions eg. Self–Help and micro–credit Groups involving farming communities (WB, 2005). DAE is the key department under the Ministry of Agriculture which provides extension support to crop sector farmers. This organization has country wide coverage and operational staff. Other public organizations involved in providing extension service in crop sectors are Agricultural Information Service (AIS), Department of Agriculture Marketing (DAM), Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC), Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB), Cotton Development Board (CDB), Tea Board (TB), Department of Youth Development (DYD), Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) etc. Except DAE other public extension organizations have their own way of offering extension services. NGOs started to provide their own extension services in the late 1970s to disseminate knowledge among their targeted clients (Haque, 2010). Several other studies posit that the performance of agricultural extension is unsatisfactory and a remarkable proportion of potential clients remain out of extension service (Haq, 2011; Porimol et al., 2008; Daily Star, 2008). In addition public agricultural extension is often criticized for being too top–down as well as large and medium farmer centered (Swanson, 2011; World Bank, 2005; Sobhan, 1995). In general extension services offered by private organizations is conceived as better than public extension service although empirical evidences are scarce. Rather extension service offered by private companies can logically be criticized for high profit making intension and ignoring development motive (Haque, 2010). On the other hand NGOs may be little ahead in terms of contact frequency (ASIRP, 2003) and dealing with special farmer groups such as landless, marginal, etc. (Birner et al., 2010; Haque, 2010) but the quality of service and skill of extension of worker is not out of the question. Nonetheless NGOs are commonly criticized for working in fashionable locations, limited capacity for agricultural technology development and dissemination, more accountable to funding agencies than clients (Farrington, 1997). • 71. The Cellular Service Provider Market This Market Essay is based on the cellular service provider market. The current United States cell phone market is made up of four major providers: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and TMobile. This market is a perfect example of an Oligopoly, which outlines a small number of sellers in a particular market where serious price competition doesn't happen. This allows the small number of sellers to collaborate to keep prices high for the consumer. I chose this topic because it is a clear example of how an oligopoly functions in today's economy, and the impact it has on hundreds of millions of consumers. Cell phones have become one of the most relevant, significant pieces of technology in today's society. Not only have we become increasingly dependent on these high–tech pieces of hardware in our individual daily lives, but these can also be considered a matter of national defense in which our very safety and well–being potentially be compromised. To own a cellular phone is not enough. The phone has little use to the consumer unless it is attached to consumer provider plan. These carriers do not manufacture the cell phones directly. The providers place their software in the phones that they obtain through the manufacturer suppliers. The cellular contract provided by your carrier activates the phone to towers they have supplied which allows the consumer to then use the device in a typical manner. The United States has an estimated that 91% of American's use cell phones. Of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 73. Canadian Chemical, A Global Provider Of Better Quality... The current United States economy, more specifically the housing market, has had great affects on the construction industry with unemployment currently floating around 30%. Canadian Chemical, a global provider of better quality products and services is one of the many commercial construction companies that are experiencing problems. More construction companies are following a, "the low bidder gets the job," mentality versus providing true quality products and customer service, which in return results in a company like Canadian Chemical to lose sales. TJ Wood who is the Vice President of Sales for Canadian Chemical understands the dilemma and is unsure how to better generate sales for the company. After reviewing the sales representatives, products being sold, selling expenses, and the income statement it is evident changes need to be made in order to remain relevant as a top seller in the industry. An overall problem for the industry is the lack of quality products and customer service as a result of extremely low prices. Many companies are profiting off cheap products that are produced quickly to commodity businesses. Being a company that considers itself a very high–ranking leader in the industry, Canadian Chemical has to combat this shift in the industry in order to acquire enough sales to remain afloat. As the Vice President of Sales, TJ is responsible for overseeing the representatives and suggesting how they should approach selling to what fits best. Because ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 79. Application For The Cloud Service Provider Applications in today's world consume resources on a wide variety of scale, one application could be CPU based while another could be network based which mean each application would saturate a few resources and under–utilize a few. With cloud computing, Pay as you go enables you to pay only for the utilized. For example, an application consumes only 50% of the processing power; you need not pay for the entire set of machines and would only pay for the utilized rate and cloud providers offer competitive prices today. To add to it operating costs like building space, power, cooling, maintenance of servers and network will be on the cloud service provider. The installation, upgrades and patches are easily done as cloud provider usually relies on virtual machines instead of physical equipment. According to a study, in the year of 2000, 45% of IT budget was spent on capital expenditure whereas only 6% of the resulting server capacity was utilized1. In this scenario, in the next couple of years the cost of server maintenance would exceed the capital expenditure invested with very less utilization ratio. Datacenters of large scales can reduce the economies and time of computing to a large extent and also contribute to the Green IT initiative saving the environment. Cloud also offers potential benefits like scalability where adding additional resources can be done in matter of hours and also eliminates the need for huge capital expenditure which enables startups access to large ...
