The Internet has become even more significant over time. The
Internet is used by more and more people every day. 40% of the
world population has Internet access today whereas only 1% of
the world population had Internet access in 1995 (Internet Users
of the World, 2016).
The Internet has had a significant impact on the economy.
According to Domick, “Experts estimate that the Internet has
created about 1.2 million jobs” (Dominick, 2012, p. 131).
