4. METHOD
 The android application for system Penilaian
Kinerja Mengajar Dosen (PKMD) was developed
using PHP Hypertext Preprocessor with the
database MySQL and sublime text 3 and android
studio.
 The PKMD application is available on the Google
App store.

8. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
- The PKMD application has successfully used to evaluate
185 of lectures in Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Palu.
There were 756 students accessed the system at the time of
this study conducted.

10. CONCLUSION
 The use of Android-based application is able to improve
efficiency in teaching quality evaluation in a higher
education institution because the application is mobile and
easy to be installed in a Smartphone.
 Students perceived the application is easy to use and
generate more result of evaluation because the evaluation
can be carried out multiple time in a short time.
 More important, users are very satisfied due to its ability to
maintain the anonymity of evaluators.
 Quality Assurance center of the university also can
generate data on their teaching staff evaluation in a short
time. As a result, the decision process toward teaching staff
performance can be more efficient and productive.
