including features or enhancements, CR fixes, software re-
architecture to improve maintainability (such as code refactoring).
• This feature is intended to address RAB & TMU CPU occupancy and
AP memory.
• The improvement is explored in callp performance among TMUs and
RABs in the area of call management and part of cell management.
Responsibilities : • Structure Padding is done to Optimize TMU memory. Used Pahole
tool to detect the holes in the Structure.
• Changing enum to u8 for TMU memory Optimisation.
• Converted bool8 to bit fields to reduce memory footprints.

Description : • Dual Cell HSPA in uplink is an extension of 3GPP feature Dual Cell
HSDPA. There are two cells, one primary and one secondary cell
where each cell operates on an adjacent uplink frequency carrier on the
same Node B. Feature implementation on RNC to support the UPLINK
data throughput of 7.2 Mbps in Dual-carrier.
• Working as a part of RNC call processing team for feature development
which involves performing DC-HSUPA Call admission control during
RAB assignment.
Responsibilities : • Added Call trace for DC-HSUPA Call. DC-HSUPA related counters
implementation and pegging for CAC scenarios with different
screening id.
• Design and implementation of Intra-frequency Handover.
• Worked on writing test plans, unit test cases for event 1A, 1B and 1D
and for DC-HSUPA related counters to test all scenarios and to
improve the coverage of the feature code.
• Design and implementation of RAB MODIFICATION with OLS and
MBR for DC-HSUPA
• Worked on feature CRs.
1. Added code in RNC_CALL to properly fill DC-HSUPA
information during DTRCH_RECONF_DCH_FAIL.
