Description:
A short message service center (SMSC) is a network element in the mobile telephone network
which delivers SMS messages. When a user sends a text message (SMS message) to another user, the
message gets stored in the SMSC which delivers it to the destination user when they are available. The
project makes use of socket programming, Inter process communication and multithreading and SMSC
supports SMPP protocol to exchange the message over TCP.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Interacting with client for requirement gathering, understanding and analysis of application.
Developed personalization features for Aegis-GW.
Involved in implementing DND features of SMSC.
Worked on Message Query Transaction feature for SMSC.
Developed Multisession Feature For SMSC.
