Abstract
The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is an inter-Autonomous System routing protocol. The primary
function of a BGP speaking system is to exchange network reach ability information with other BGP
systems. BGP provides a new set of mechanisms for supporting classless inter domain routing. BGP
uses TCP as its transport protocol.
Role : Responsible for Design and verification of BGP module for Ethernet switch

Title: Application Modules on GSM phones
Responsible for bug fixing of Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) issues which includes
Browser on GSM mobile phones for the following models Nelson(LG-C105), Papy(LG-C300)
Papy Pro(LG-C305) and Karla(CD02).

Title: Country Adaption
This Country Adaption (CA) process includes activities to customize GSM mobile
handsets for a particular region based on their language specific requirements, default
settings and other enhancements as requested by the service provider. This method starts
with retrieving the country and operator specific settings from DQMS and does the things
accordingly.
Done the CA for world class GSM mobile models that includes LG-C310(Papy Plus) for the
regions of Newzealand (2Degree Operator),Europe and India regions.

Title : REGI XMM7160 & XMM7260 E-NodeB simulation
Abstract
The project aims on developing a protocol stack of eNodeB side with the simulated Physical
layer.
Implementation of all the layers in eNode-B and creating a network environment of the UE.
Debugging and execution of test scripts (eNode-B Simulation) as per the 3GPP standards
and debugging the UE code and analyzing the issues . Debugging of UE code and fixing of
ttcn3 script issues ,raising the bug if it is issue from UE.
Role : Debugging and execution of the test cases (E-NodeB simulation) as per the 3GPP standards .
Time Duration : 12 months

Title : Simulated UE and EUTRAN
Abstract
The project aims on developing a protocol stack of eNodeB side with the simulated Physical
layer.
Implementation of all the layers in eNode-B and creating a network environment of the UE.
Implementation of RRC Layer in the UE and eNodeB side.
Successful transfer of RRC messages in between UE and eNB as per the 3GPP release 9
specifications

Title: Identity Management Service (PTT Server)
Abstract
Identity Management service for PTT(Wave 7k ) Server offers a secure means to accomplish
user authentication by providing OAuth tokens that clients may use to prove their identity to
the valuable resources they wish to access. The token approach is significantly more secure
because it allows the Identity Management Service to remain unaware of user credentials
such as passwords or fingerprints, and only serves tokens to the requesting clients. These
tokens are short-lived and can easily be revoked by the admin if this system is ompromised.
Wave server will respond 200 OK to the Client for the registration Message Before retrieval
is complete. Wave server upon receiving the access token in the Registration Message shall
validate the access token and retrieves the x5t field from the header section of JWT access
token.
Wave server check in the memory whether certificate which corresponding to this x5t value
is available in memory .If not available triggers an https get request with x5t value as input
to the IDM server and retrieves the certificate. Retrieved certificate is stored into the DB
and also to the server memory. This retrieved certificate contains the public key to validate
the signature in access token.
Next registration message from any other clients with a valid access token and same x5t
value shall use the retrieved certificate and can validate the signature.
Role :
Understanding the requirements, developing, preparing detailed design document and test
cases.
Used Third party open source libraries Jansson and Cryptopp for JWT token decoding and
Digital signature validation.
Valgrind & Klock report analysis for memory leak detection and fixing leaks.
Played a lead role for the IDM and Geo Redundancy feature delivery.

Title: Unified Push to Talk Product (UPP Server)
Abstract
The Unified PTT Product (UPP) is a modified Broadband PTT (BPTT) system that will
interwork the individual dispatch call types between the UPP and the iDEN system (Private
Call and Call Alert). The UPP will adhere to the DAP-ACG interface into the iDEN system. UPP
is stateful proxy server
Active Directory (AD) module is in memory database of subscriber profiles. It contains
registered and provisioned subscriber information.
IPMH acts as Transport & Transaction layer of SIP. LAPD-IPMH module interfaces with UPP
client over UDP/TCP and LAPD-IPMH module interfaces with EBTS (ACG) through which UPP
server communicates to DAP.
Role :
Understanding the requirements, developing, preparing detailed design document and test
cases.
SIP message parsing and routing calls to Call Control Switches (CCSW), which is
“Transaction User” layer of SIP.
DAP-ACG message parsing and routing calls CCSW’s using load balancing mechanism
Valgrind & Klock report analysis for memory leak detection and fixing leaks
Performance tuning of AD, IPMH modules using gprof report
