College athletics is a very diverse organization involving a lot of students, mainly as the players, and non–students such as officials, coaches and others.
The leading governing body for college athletics is the National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA. College sports is itself a big industry
involving sponsorships, TV networks, endorsements, retail products and marketing. But in spite of it being a big business, the players are not

this article was to see if men and women were getting the same amount of media attention in college basketball. This study mainly looked to the

media program with ESPN. While the participation in sports for women has increased tremendously since the title IX enactment, the coverage of

In an interview, former University of Connecticut (UConn) basketball star Shabazz Napier voiced his opinion on college athletes not getting paid to
play. The interview was conducted just after UConn won a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championship, in which Napier won the
"most outstanding player" award. The interview conducted by Fox News was only one minute and thirty–five seconds long on TV, however in that
short time frame, Napier skillfully used rhetoric to support his claims. An analysis through the lens of Aristotle's three proofs,Ethos, Pathos and Logos
demonstrates Napier's aptitude to galvanize his audience to support his claims.

We often are apprehensive to immerse ourselves in a location where we feel we will be the odd one out. No one ever wants to feel that they are be

I grew up in rural North Carolina. From the day I was born I bleed NC State red. My father, a graduate of NC State taught me how to be a Wolfpack
fan. I have heard the story of the 1983 miracle season many times. I have been to countless Wolfpack games. This is my take on that miraculous run of
1983.
The day was March 27, 1980 and NC State had just hired a new basketball coach. He was a fiery Italian from Queens New York named Jim Valvano.
He had previously coached at Iona College in Rochelle, New York from 1975–1980. His first order of business at North Carolina State was to ensure
