Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this service cover my entire family/household?
A: The member and spouse are covered under the same plan. Dependents are NOT covered under the
member’s plan. Dependents cannot be added to a member/spouse plan, but can certainly be
covered under their own membership if applicable.
Q: Is there a minimum age requirement to become a member?
A: No, there is no age requirement as long as the subscribing member has a valid identity and form of
payment; however this product is only useful to those persons of age to operate a motor vehicle.
Q: How many vehicles are covered under one plan?
A: Coverage applies to the individual member, not to any specific vehicle. As long as the covered
member is present in the vehicle, they may utilize this service.
Q: When will I receive my membership card and explanation of benefits?
A: Please allow time for processing and shipping. On average, from the date of enrollment it may take
anywhere from 2 to 7 days for a membership card to process, ship and arrive in the mail. Times may
vary slightly depending on geographic location.
Q: If I am already a Roadside customer with Allstate/GE is it possible for me to become a customer
through FHTM?
A: Absolutely! You would be required to cancel your current membership and then reapply for a new
membership through your Office Assistant via the Roadside Auto Club link.
Q: Do I have to sign a contract?
A: There is no long term contract associated with this product. The service is billed monthly at the
beginning of each month and you can cancel at any time. However, be aware that unused portions
of any month subsequent to cancellation will not be refunded.
Q: Why does this product vendor bill Canadian customers in USD?
A: At this time our vendor is based in the US and is researching the possibility of billing this product in
CAD. If and when the billing currency changes, we will notify Reps immediately. As of now, this
product will bill in USD and we encourage you to reinforce this information with potential
customers.
