The poem expresses the fear behind finding beauty in sunsets. While sunsets are lovely to watch from rocks by the sea, they also represent the passing of time and remind the narrator of heartaches, scars and darkness that have been endured in life. When the narrator's own sunset in life comes, they hope to finish their given line and find the darkness they usually pass by turns into a sweet goodbye.

When I’m setting alone upon the rocks
I can see the beauty that shocks
The loveliness of sunset that shown
Will never replace until I known.
My tears begin to fall
An empty bottle you can call
A heartaches that no one can core
Until it becomes scars that I endure.
If ever the sunset of my life comes
I hope I will finish the given line
The darkness I usually pass by
Will turn to be a sweet goodbye .
I admit the fear is there
The clouds beside can take care
I will not stop to stand if I stumble
In this theard world which immeasurable.
