1) The proposal is for a short action film of 5-10 minutes about problems around the world like North Korea and natural disasters. 2) It will feature action sequences like gun fights and planning scenes, filmed with a digital SLR and edited in Premiere Pro. 3) The target audience is teen males aged 12-19 who enjoy high-action films.

1. Proposal for my short film
Format:
Short action film, I choose this because I enjoyed making our crime drama trailer as it was great
fun to film unit 5, as I like to film action scenes.
Working Title:
Breaking the DMZ
There goes the DMZ
Kim Jong gone, Losing Korea ,Korea as one,
Genre:
Action as I enjoy action films as they are fun to make and watch.
And I enjoyed making the short crime drama trailer in unit 5.
And my target audience I believe enjoy that sort of genre.
Content:
Something to do with the problems around the world at the moment from north Korea to
natural disasters.
Short action sequences with a gun fights and planning etc.

2. Proposal for my short film
Style or Approach:
I will use a digital SLR to film as they are good quality cameras, then I can take the footage and
edit it using premier pro from adobe as it is good for adding in effects into the footage that I
take as it will make my film look professional.
Audience:
Teen males from 12 – 19 as they enjoy high action film as they are high pumping and
adrenaline rushing which teen males watch like films
including Elysium and other action films.
Length: about 5 – 10 minutes
As that is the time that I have been given and I think I can get in the entire thing that I want to
include into that amount of time.
