Question 5
What is your target audience We believe our target audience are from 15 onwards, this is because we believe it is to violent for anyone under this age but also that it would appeal to people over this age. We are targeting this at the male audience, this is because it is more action rather than a romantic film.
Are there particular points in your film that would appeal to your target audience? There are a few points in the film that would appeal to our target audience: When the bullets are fired but you cant see the murder When the killer is hunting down his victim
Consider the use of camerawork in this section We used lots of different shots for example and point of view shot, long shot and shot reverse shot to show the chases and conversation in the film clip
Audience feedback Good Points: Good use of sound to add suspense Killing scene was well planned and presented Logo created was good Good titles Consistent with the genre sounds follows genre, slightly creepy however fits Bad Points: Scenes are slow Stood still no drama on speech Edit shot maybe add more More actors confuses audience Less of the board scene very slow, too much Last effect on directed by wasn't applied Sign in bathroom Action Points: When I have looked at my action points needed we decided to alter most scenes in our opening sequence the biggest scene we are planning on changing is the the dialogue scene we are changing the types of shot and adding more in such as long shots, low cuts etc. We are also cutting down dialogue to not bore the audience as much. We are also changing the board scene and making it shorter so the audience doesn't loose interest in the clip.
