focus on?
• My magazine is going to focus on alternative
music genre.

From my feedback my class mates told me that they
thought this was a good topic. They thought this
because it is a different topic, and it quite
interesting. They also said because it would be a
niche magazine it would have a loyal fan base for
example metal hammer.
3. What will your magazine be called?

• I chose the title A because I got the inspiration off
Q. I like how simple but effective this title is, and I
think it will work well for my magazine.

From my feedback from my class mates they told
me that they thought this was a very catchy and
simple name. They thought it was easy to
remember and is very bold, meaning the magazine
would stand out.
4. Will you feature a single artist or a
band on our front cover.
• My front cover will feature a single artist.
• The reason why I chose a single artist is because from
my survey a solo artist was the favourite choice.

My class mates told me that a single artist would be very
bold in the centre of the magazine. It would be very eye-
catching and they said it would be more effective than a
band on the magazine.
5. What kind of article will be on your
double page spread?
• My double page spread will have an article on either
interview’s with music artists or coverage of
festivals/gigs.
• From my survey I found out that people would
prefer/enjoy to read about interview’s and coverage of
festivals/gigs.

My class mates when they gave me feedback told me that
these topics would be something they would enjoy to read
about, they would like to find out about things that are
going on. And it would defiantly relate to them.
6. What colour scheme will your
magazine have?
• My colour scheme is going to be red.
• This was the favourite choice from my survey. I think it
is a very bold and eye catching colour, and will appeal
to both sexes.

My class mates really liked the colour red or my colour
scheme they thought it was very eye-catching and bold
which would make my magazine stand out from the
others.
7. How much will it cost?
• My magazine is going to cost £1.25.
• This is the price in which people who answered my
survey would like to pay for a weekly magazine.

My class mates told me that this is a very reasonable
price for a weekly magazine, and as students it would be
in their price range. So, it would appeal to them.
