Mr. V. R. Vijayaprakash – Managing Director - A well-rounded personality
and a technical expert who is basically a Mechanical Engineer and further has done
dual Masters from Germany, one in Computational Engineering from Friedrich
Alexander University(FAU) & the other in International Production Management
from Technical University Hamburg- Harburg (TUHH). He has good practical
experience in multiple disciplines by tremendously contributing to the numerous
successful projects, comparative studies & optimizations in IT, CFD & FEA
throughout the world.
Mr. V. Rajagopal – Chairman - A Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
with vast experience in Air Preheater since starting with BHEL in 1975. He was
first trained at Combustion Engineering, USA and later headed Air Preheater
division at Alstom. He has worked with most of the Air Preheater designs available
around the globe and is actively involved in its selection, design and field
engineering. A multifaceted personality who develops strategical plans towards
company growth.
Mrs. V. Nithya – Director - She has completed Post Graduate in Industrial
Management and takes up Managerial roles. She actively takes part in Management,
Administration, HR, Finance & Accounts activities in TEFUGEN. She takes up

NEW HOT-END RADIAL SEALS FOR RAPH – TALCON™ SEALS
The new generation radial seals for Rotary Air-PreHeater(RAPH) is jointly developed by
TEFUGEN and GEECO. The unique design of this newly developed radial seals significantly
reduces the clearance between the sector plate and diaphragm plate created during APH operation,
thereby reducing the direct leakage of air into flue gas side of RAPH.
Benefits of TALCON™ Seals
• Increase in efficiency of RAPH.
• Reduction in auxiliary power consumption.
• Reduction in drift loss.
• Reduced cost and reduced maintenance
The combination of Test & FEA results indicate that
a reduction of around “75% hot-end radial leakage”
and “25%total leakage” can be anticipated, by
