Tittle : Site Civil Engineer
First project:
2 basement levels below ground level of 20,414 m2 enclosing car parking and technical areas and
three entrance lobbies leading to the upper floors.
A two story podium at ground and first floor enclosing reduced number of car parking, amenity
functions for the building ( Swimming pool, Gymnasium, Children play room, and relevant services)
and complete finished apartments, with private gardens on ground floor for each apartment facing
the main road and the canal side. Three pedestrian accesses and one vehicular access will serve the
building from the main road through the public buffer zone.
5 story residential building divided in three adjoining blocks enclosing different sizes of residential
units of two and three bedroom units, with private terraces/gardens for apartments on top of podium
level facing the canal side.
The area above ground level is around 42,577 m2, the total built-up Area is around 62,990 m2.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that the selected material (Block, Steel, concrete, membrane, cement, paint , … etc.) are
in accordance with the agreed specification, standards and as per the basic and engineering
design stipulated in the Contract document.
• Checking & reviewing the concrete sample testing results and to grant that the results are within
the design acceptable limits.
• Carrying out numerous checks for the reinforcement steel bars size and type, in order to grant
that the site construction material is implemented based on the agreed design calculations,
engineering basis & standards.
• Preparing snagging list form.
• Carrying out the inspection of all finishing activities(Block work , plaster, false ceiling , water
proofing, tiles works, paint ,aluminum works, wooden doors, metal doors , marble works, … etc.)
including with the snag and de snag lists.
• Ensure that the engineering specifications, standards and procedures are compliance /
implemented on all Phases of Projects.
second project:
2 basement levels below ground level of 11992 m2 enclosing retail kiosks at promenade level, car
parking areas, technical areas and two entrance lobbies leading to the upper floors.
A two storey podium at ground and first floor, enclosing Gymnasium, MEP rooms, Service rooms,
auxiliary amenities, and complete finished apartments with private terrace on ground floor for each
apartment facing the main road and the canal side. Two pedestrian accesses and one vehicular

will serve the building from the main road through the public buffer zone.
6 storey residential building with typical floors composed of two adjoining similar blocks enclosing
three types of residential units of one, two and three bedroom units, with dedicated private balconies
and terraces with different shapes at each floor.
The setback areas will comprise landscape hard and soft finishes for private gardens of apartments,
for common areas (barbecue area and pocket garden) and for technical areas as well.
The built up area above ground level is around 28,874 m2, and the building total built-up Area is
around 40,866 m2.
Responsibilities

PRECAST experience
ADNOC precast temporary guest houses (RUWAIS)
Temporary worked in this project for approximately two months supervising the casting and other
finishing works of the precast panels in abu dhabi and dubai precast factory yards by checking
strict compliance to the stringent dimensional tolerance of the precast panels by ensuring
structural steel works and the finishing work are done as per the approved drawing.

Responsibilities
• Preparation of daily, weekly progress reports, attending the meetings with the contractors and
follow up the actual site progress.
• Ensure that the selected material (Cement, reinforcement concrete, bituminous, plywood,
gravels, sand… etc.) are in accordance with the agreed specification, standards and as per the
basic and engineering design stipulated in the Contract document.
• Follow up the project phase’s progress and updating the actual progress vs. planned schedule.
• Preparation the Bill of Quantity and Cost Estimate related to the projects.
• Checking & reviewing the concrete sample testing results which being received from Laboratory
and to grant that the results are within the design acceptable limits.
• Reviewing the project scope of work, drawings, specifications, material submittals and other
technical documents related to the projects.
• Carrying out the required in-house civil design and detailed engineering works, including the
structural analysis / modeling, reinforced concrete design, preparation of drawings, provision of
technical / standard details, etc.
• Supervising the project site construction phases to be sure that the project construction is being
implemented as per the planned schedule and agreed scope of work.
• Reviewing any design changes may be requested by the owner, preparation the design change
request and preparation, brief scope of work, detailed engineering, etc.

• Reviewing the prepared punch list. Following up the pre-commissioning & commissioning
completion stages with all concerned parties.
• Piling Site Works (related to the implemented project as indicated in the attached project list).
 Reviewing the piling access and check the steel bars size & type.
 Attend the site piling installation to ensure that the excavation piles reach to the acceptable
design depth.
 Checking the piling concrete samples to grant that the results are within the acceptable limits.
 Attend, check & supervise the required piling static load and integrity tests.

• Ensure that the defective insulated areas (based on site inspection) were repaired and accepted.
• Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly progress reports.
• Attend regular meeting with the contractors and prepare the MOM, checking the contractor’s
manpower histogram.
• Follow-up and checking the insulation material availability, inspection certificates, etc.
Practical training as part of the educational syllabus program
The following training programs were established and organized by the high technological institute as
a part of the educational syllabus program for students for a period of three (3) months (during
summer time) for every separate training course.

Training scope: follow up the execution of Maintenance and Refurbishment of the old Islamic
building by Injection using specific Materials, removal of bad conditions of stairs, wall,... etc. and
assembly of the new replacement Material.
