2. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
Originally founded on April 30th, 1912 by 8 people (Carl Laemmie, Pat
Powers, Mark Dintenfass, William Swanson, David Horsley, Charles
Baumann, Adam Kessel, Julese Brulatour) Universal studios was
created when Laemmie sat outside a box office for hours, watching
how much money it was taking in. This intrigued him, and within
weeks gave up his work and bought his first few nickelodeons.
This makes Universal Studios the third oldest film studio.
Throughout its history, Universal has created three of the highest
grossing films (At their respectable times) Jaws(1975) E.T. Extra-
Terrestrial (1982) Jurassic Park (1993)

ground breaking piece of film.
From the very first film, Cross Creek Productions have been making

5. MOTORSPORT FILM BY CROSS
CREEK PRODUCTIONS
Rush
Budget - $38,000,000
Gross - $26,903,709
Released – 13th September 2013
Filmed – Longcross Studios, Chobham Lane, Longcross, Surrey,
England
Based on the true rivalry of James Hunt and Niki Lauda, this film is
based in what could be considered the greatest era of F1. The 1970s.
These extreme opposites in lifestyles and driving techniques make an
interesting story as both drivers battle it out to win the
championship. Right down to the final round. Neither driver can make
a mistake, as death is almost guaranteed.
6. WHO WOULD PRODUCE MY CLIP?
I would choose Cross Creek Productions to produce my clip. Being an
independent production company, they would be able to put the
whole company behind the clip. Being a new company, they are more
likely to be inclined to try new techniques, rather than stick to old
ways that the company may have tried before.
With the company having major experience in motorsport films with
the film Rush, they already know what to expect and can solve some
issues that may occur faster due to the experience.
My final reason would be that they produce indie films, something
different from the rest. And I believe our clip is different and not just
your average motorsport film.
7. WHAT IS THE BBFC?
Founded in 1912 to bring a set of standards into the movie industry.
This is an independent board, so it is not to be influenced by anyone.
The BBFC (British Broad of Film Classification) Review and analyse
films to decide what age ratings they should have.
The main reason for this is to protect people from harmful content,
and to give people information on films. So they can make educated
choices in the films they want to watch.
It allows parents to see what sort of content is in a film. Allowing
them to decide whether they want their children to watch the film or
not.
