Paramount Pictures is a global film and entertainment company that produces and distributes movies. It consists of several labels including Paramount Pictures, MTV Films, Nickelodeon Movies, Paramount Vantage, and Paramount Classics. Paramount also has distribution deals with Marvel Entertainment and DreamWorks. Founded in 1912 by Adolph Zukor, Paramount is one of the major Hollywood studios known as the Big Six. Titanic, released in 1997, was a blockbuster for Paramount and won 11 Academy Awards. Today, Paramount continues film production from its 64-acre studio lot in Hollywood.
