2. Trying to find a character in a film that would be like ours was harder
than expected as there are very few films that are about domestic
abuse but I managed to find a film that was kind of like ours called
'Enough' 2002. I chose to use the male figure in the film, the abusive
partner as when I watched the trailer he was wearing a wife beater vest
and tracksuit bottoms which was the costume chosen for our character
when he starts abusing his wife.
4. As this film isn't very well known i thought it
would be best to get an online profile about the
character.
5. Similarities of the two characters
Clothing
The two characters are wearing basically the same clothing, maybe different brands but besides that they are
wearing identical clothing. They are both in wife beater vests and tracksuit bottoms. This makes them look
dominant, wearing a tight top shows of their muscles and accentuates their arms making them look physically
powerful and intimidating. This is a good thing for displaying their personality as they are both abusive and see
themselves as the dominant figure in the relationship.
The two characters physique are very similar and you can see that they're both well built, look as if they work
out; in the two photos they are both standing in a way which makes them look dominant. They both look
aggressive, Mitch maybe a bit more as he is holding a gun however Brad is punching a training bag which shows
that he has a lot of anger he needs to take out and is also a physical person.
