2. Recce – Ringwood Park
• This is one of the locations that I have chosen to film at. I have
chosen this location because it is practical for me and my crew to
access and it seems like a realistic spot for my characters to meet
for the first time. Using this location means that I will be able to
easily film during school time which means that it will easier to use
In the future in case I need to re-shoot. This location also gives me a
lot to work with because there are many places within the park
where I will be able to film.
• I have been to this location and I have looked at the area
thoroughly for any hazards and dangers. There are many slopes in
the park which may create a slip hazard. My cast may also trip over
the play equipment in the park so I must make sure that all trip
hazards are clearly marked so that I am able to avoid any incidents
that may occur.
3. Recce – Outside my house
• This is my second location where I am going to film the
second half of my film. I have chosen this location because
of the ease of access as it will be using my house. I am
using this location because it Is out of the way and will be
quiet so I will not be disturbing anyone while filming. This is
a very convenient location for me as it will be easy to get
my cast and crew there and there wont be ant background
noise to disrupt my filming.
• I have assessed the area for any dangers and hazards and
have come across the need to look out for cars because we
will be filming on the road. There may also be sticks and
rocks in the grass/on the road so I have to make sure that
they are removed before filming begins.
