Growing up I had always been fond of traveling. Throughout my life I have been lucky enough to be
able to travel a good amount. I'd like to continue to travel through my life to be able to identify
places by what makes that place unique. Although I have had a lot of chances to travel in my life,
there are still plenty of places that I have not been. Therefore, I will be comparing two places that I
haven't got the chance to go to yet. I will be comparing the regions of California and Colorado. The
geographical location of California is on the Western side of North America. California borders
Oregon, Nevada, and Mexico while the Pacific Ocean borders the western side of California.
Colorado is also located on the western side of North America. The states that border Colorado are
Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. The demographics of
California are more diverse than other regions in the United States. The population of California is
estimated total is 39,144,818 residents. The amount of Caucasian residents in California is 72.9% of

The first national park I would like to visit is the Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most
popular national parks. It has massive peaks, canyons, waterfalls and lakes. Next, I would like to

My Vacation Time
Vacation time
Today is the first day in my five day vacation all over california. I started in sunset cliffs natural
park where I got to experience a beautiful sight of southern california. It was right on the beach
there was crashing waves and a beautiful sunset to go along with it. The hike along the coast was
breathtaking. I saw a couple of people jumping off some of the cliffs that lead into the ocean. The
ocean was a perfect blue. After my adventure I decided to grabs a bite at pepe's italian. After my
delicious italian meal i settled at the inn at sunset cliffs.it was $175 to stay there for one night. On
day two is was taking my car to palm springs it is going to be my second time in palm springs. The
last time is was there i went to water park. I got super sunburned the last time so i remembered to
pack extra sunscreen. I will be going to cabazon dinosaurs which is a road side attraction featuring
some of the worlds biggest replicas of dinosaurs. Cabazon dinosaurs is really fammous it was
featured in pee wees adventure. When i got there i was amazed by the scale of all the dinosaurs
espaically the big t rex. I was even more amazed by the great food they had. At the end of my
adventure i settled at the palm springs hotel which cost me $159. That morning i was up to go to
hollywood where i was up for the ride of my life. But before my activity for tat ay started i went to

A Summary On The Park ' The Santamonica North Beach '
Looff gave the SantaMonica north beach an amusement that was the first success that included the
blue streak race roller coaster. The piers counsel was housed by the hippodrome and currently the
building still stands with the distinction of the first national historic landmark of SantaMonica. The
family of Looff ran the pier until 1923 when it was sold to the SantaMonica amusement company.

president that just about everyone wanted to hear more of what he had to say. Sadly, in his second
term, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease ( Rothman). Alzheimer's disease is a terrible
disease because when diagnosed with Alzheimer's, men and women will have horrible symptoms.
These include dementia, aggression, personality changes, mental decline, delusion, disorientation,
inability to recognize common things like friends, family, pets, utilities, but these are only the worst.
Although there is not a way to discard Alzheimer's disease, but tests have shown that some causes of
the disease. So far there is no evidence and real way to prevent Alzheimer's disease, but doctors
suggest to keep your heart healthy, and keeping your body in good health in general. Causes of the
disease may include old age, head trauma, family history and genetics. Another cause is lifestyle and
health. Detailed causes would be obesity, smoking, high blood pressure and cholesterol, poorly

local fauna may become disturbed by the wail of sirens. Be advised that a sound barrier should be
constructed around the fire station in order to minimize disturbance of wildlife. One important note
is that it was recommended in a biotic assessment that, "one of the proposed trails be removed from
the plan (on Taylor Mountain) to avoid impacts to deer in the oak woodland, and that another be

Better Runoff: California is a coastal state so it has an easy way to get rid of its sewage and runoff.
They just have it get drained out into the Sea. However, what if cities could reroute their pipelines
into a treatment plant instead. With that many people in one area there is bound to be a lot of
wastewater. Why should all this water be wasted instead of being used? Though it doesn't sound
very sanitary it is already being done not only there, but in other places, such as Nevada and
Arizona. Although, with the huge population there needs to be more treatment plants in order to
keep up with the amount of people living there. According to Gary Wockner, "Enough water flows
into the ocean from Southern California's streets and sewers to meet all of the area's water needs–

dolphins could do! I was still shocked what these Dolphins could do. When we left I took a picture
with the magnificent Dolphins of the show. Sea world was on of the best and most amazing

Analysis Of Hotel California By The Eagles
I have always enjoyed music with strong, meaningful lyrics so this option was the obvious choice
for my final. I find myself constantly listening to music and have listened to "Hotel California" by
The Eagles more times than I can count, making it another obvious choice for me. Although, when
reading through the lyrics the first time, I realized that I had never understood the song meaning and
the theme it is intended to portray. It was interesting to read through it with my own, as opposed to
hearing the tone it receives when listening to the song. Not having the music helped me understand
the meaning of the lines better, letting the words sink in instead of them being sung quickly and then
gone.
"Hotel California" takes on a relatively free form when analyzed as poetry. It contains a mostly
consistent rhyme pattern throughout using an A,A,B,B,C,C series, as many songs do. However, the
meter of the song is less structured and has more variance throughout the stanzas. Each can carry
different numbers of syllables than the one before, depending on the part of the song. This is where
the work loses its formality and is taken as free verse. When reading through, the lyrics carry even
more similar traits than those we look for when analyzing modern poetry including, general theme
and figurative language.

When we were checking into our room, I had to use the restroom so I was forced to use the
communal hotel bathroom. If you know me then you know in addition to hotel anxieties, I have
public bathroom issues. I NEVER use them if I don't have to. After years of practice, I'm a camel so

of marijuana, but 43% thought it was used by many or some high school kids" (Robison); therefore,
many individuals might not understand that marijuana, as many claim today, leads to usage of more
harmful substances. The speaker then sees a shimmering light as if he is about to die which signifies
the death of an old life and the birth of a new one. The temptation of drugs becomes too strong, so
the speaker has to stop at the Hotel California. The mission bell that sounds contrasts so with the
topic of this song that the bell must symbolize the perversion of life by the drug–use in California
and elsewhere. "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell," furthers the idea of the death of an old
life. Here, the speaker does not really know whether or not his or her new life is going to be
