The document discusses the results of a social media survey conducted to inform the development of a magazine targeted at unique individuals aged 16-25. The survey consisted of questions about fashion style, design preferences, and content interests. Most respondents indicated preferences for casual clothing, bright colors, and topics like news and fashion brands. However, some unique responses like "vintage" and "Bohemian" styles as well as desires for "up to date trends" and celebrity interviews provide additional guidance for creating a magazine that stands out from stereotypes of the target demographic.

Social Networking Analysis
1. For my Social Networking survey I needed to make the
questions easy to answer and clear and concise. They
also need to be questions that can be answered with
yes or no and generally easy to answer because I
needed them to be answered in the comments of this
Facebook status so it was easy to gather. I did get a
couple of replies messaged to me however I am only
looking at the answers in the comments. These are the
replies I got within a couple of days, and if I get any
more answers I will be analysing them as well because I
think it is important to consider all people’s opinions
and replies so I can get the most rounded view of each
question.
2. The responses I got were very interesting because it was quite a variety.
However, what I did notice is that most people put casual clothing for the first
question. I was interested to see that one person put “vintage” and another put
“Bohemian”. These are interesting to me because I wasn’t aware that people of
this age group would be into this kind of fashion style. And seeming as I am
aiming my magazine at people who are a little unique and not the same as the
stereotypeof this agegroup and so these would fit in to that target audience. The
next question is kind of vague but I wanted to see what kind of things people
wanted to see. Most people said “bright colours” or “natural colours”. These are
not what I thought would be written but because my magazine is aimed at the
people who stand out because of their individuality, I think that using almost
completely the opposite is something that is good for me to do. Finally, the last
question I left quite open. Most of the answers I read was “news” and “fashion
brands”. I think these are quite relevant for the kind of things I originally had in
mind of doing news from the current times as well as news in Leicester.
3. I got lots of the same responses from this group of answers. However, two
answers that caught my eye was “up to date trends” and “going out”. These
caught my eyes because I usually thought that this kind of target audience age
group was into more individuality and less fitting in so much. However, these
responses are something that I would have expected from ages a little
younger like 15. The next question stood out to me a lot more because these
responses were really interesting. Someone put “slogan that makes me think”
and a couple more people put “famous people” which is kind of what I wanted
people to put. Obviously I cannot put anyone famous in my magazine,
however, I can use some kinds of quote or a piece of text that will make them
seem famous or well known. Finally, the last question’s responses were kind
of the same as before, however someone put “a good celebrity interview”
which grabbed my attention. This makes me think about some kind of
interview I could orchestrate that will make it seem professional and well
made, giving me more to do but I think it will work really well.
