• When creating my school magazine I
used a variety of tools to make it eye
catching and attractive.
3. Front Cover Tools
To get this text
I used the text
tool as that
allowed me to
type text onto
my document.
I used
the right
align tool
to make
the text
flush
right.
I used the bucket
tool to fill the
background.
I took a photo of
charlotte and
then used the
quick selection to
cut out the
background.
I used the
left align
tool to make
the text
flush left.
4. Contents Page Tools
Once I took a
photo of Mr.
Applewhite I
again used the
quick selection
tool to remove
the
background.
I used the
magic eraser
on this so that I
could remove
the background
carefully.
I used the
text tool and
then the
wrap tool.
I used the text
tool but ten
coloured it the
same colour as
the background
so it looks cut
out.
I used the
shape tool
create the
square and
I then used
the fill
bucket to
colour it in.

7. How would I improve my
magazine?
Improvement 1: My first
improvement would be to
make sure that they is an
appropriate colour scheme. I
would do this because
nothing matches and doesn’t
look professional.
Improvement 2: My second
improvement would be make
all the font the same but then
I would add different sizes.
This will make the magazine
look neat and tidy.
Improvement 3: I
would also add more
puff as this will make
my magazine look
more interesting and
eye catching.
Improvement 4: I would
also add a couple more
images to the contents
page as it will be more
interesting and really sell
the magazine.
