36. Solar Pumping Installation AT Bihar
We have successfully installed more than 30 sets of our
‘Accusolar’ -Solar Water Pumping solution in Nalanda district,
for Bihar government. The controller has IP52 protection,
ruggedized construction for remote outdoor locations. It is
equipped with highly efficient MPPT (Maximum Power Point
Tracking) unit & Variable Frequency Current Booster circuitry
to ensure maximum power output & efficiency at all times. It
has inbuilt protection against reverse polarity & overloads.
Apart from this it has an added advantage of our RMS
(Remote Monitoring System) which can remotely Monitor&
Control the Pumps via Web/SMS/GPRS technologies for
control, maintenance and pump status. It can automatically
Start/Shut, Remote Start/Shut from SMS/Web. It hasremote
operation and information to farmer via SMS. Plus it has Self-
Diagnostic, Health-Check mechanisms for easy maintenance
and setup. User friendly GUI makes data simple and easy to
read, log, co-relate and gives clear visual view of operation. It
is integrated with GIS; it can track & locate the actual position
of all pumps if the user has more than one installation at
different locations. Hence this is the biggest advantage for
Bihar installation that, the Bihar Government can track all the
pumps remotely from one place & get data of actual power
generation & the current status at any time.
38. A better road management requires a
good planning for a new vacant area for
the citizen with all accommodation and
administrative facilities. Every building
located in the map area with their
specific area, building shape, area
extension and lat and long value. For
the contour line features ‘Elevation’
information is required. By the help of
GPS machine elevation information has
been gathered and lat and long
information too. On the basis of contour
information digging limitation for
undulated area has been fixed up
because of the hilly nature of the area it
is very much important to identify the
slope, grade and the alignment of the
plots to be allotted.

39. Rural Electrification Project :
(State of West Bengal & Bihar
To generate a new electrification scheme
for the interior part of the country
government can implement the GIS based
technology. For example a block level new
electrification programme required over all
approximate estimate for pole and over
head cable in advance and an area
overview too. So by the help of GPS
machine overall area, pole and door to
door survey along with Lat and Long
information can be done. On the basis of
these field data , in map portion every
important information like transformer
location and it’s capacity, stay information,
existing pole information, pole type
information including pole to pole distance,
Phase information (Single, double etc.)
consumer location with owner name and
other service details can be inserted in map
portion with respective map symbols in the
legend part.
40. Restructured Power Development Project:
RAPDRP: As situated in Northeast India the state
Punjab shares the international boundary with
Pakistan and national state boundary with
Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
Chandigarh is the capital of the state. Total area
of the state is 50362 square kilometers. The
population of the state is 24289296. In socio-
economic development role of electricity is
enormous. In the modern days in every sector a
reliable distribution and supply of electricity is
must but at present the state is facing acute
power shortage.
Assam RAPDRP: The main goal of the project is to
show the Transmission Network (along with
Latitude-Longitude) all assets and Customers
covered by 66kV/33KV/11KV and LT network
entities of the UTILITY & Preparing Master plan
through GIS platform. In the MP based region
selection for APDRP project where linking of the
consumer database with the base map and
electrical network entities and electrical network
map will represent the relationship of consumer
database and electrical network entities spatially
in relation to land base features. This GIS based
system has been prepared for the district
41. Virtual City output for Development
Planning Activity
Some of its application can be:
•Huge added value for tourist
attraction
•Oriented preservation &
conservation of our Culture
• Planning for Environment &
Tourism
• Infrastructure development &
scaling up
• Maintenance & Decision support
42. Afghanistan Information
Management Services
PIMSS
The main aim of PIMSS (PROVINCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE
MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SYSTEM) is to coordinate and make
the decision at the provincial level. It will be able to give all
the information to the Afghanistan Govt. as well as
provincial and district profile on the development and
infrastructure, in order to allow for monitoring and
evaluation.
It will also deal with the field survey and monitoring teams
(FSMTs), which is connected to the central system
through mobile services.
PIMSS project needs to gather data from different sources
and organizations to implement Afghanistan into a
common system through suitable programs and projects.
This data could be already either existing or need to be
build. This geographical data need to have consistency.
Therefore, it can be pointed out that data layers must be
GIS-enabled.
44. HOW SMARTY CITY PROJECT WORKS
BY Supreme GIS services
House/industries connect with
Secondary substation BY Smart meter)
45. The Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, a central government electricity transmission company, has
undertaken an ambitious pilot project on smart grid which will be deployed in 21 cities across India. Amongst
this the first pilot is being commenced in Union territory of Puducherry which would be delivered in three
phases 1)AMI, 2) Renewable energy integration with grid, microgrid, EV etc& finally 3) leading towards smart
city. We are in first phase of this pilot which will focus on Distribution side of the Grid which is responsible for
majority of AT&C losses of the grid.Hence an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) consisting of Smart
Meters, which are capable to communicate bidirectional between Grid & Load, is being developed. These
meters will have features like Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), remote connect/disconnect features, giving
very useful data & control to the utility companies which will help to reduce the losses.
Supreme is one of the major companies involved in this pilot fordeployment of Smart Meters & AMI leading to
smart city. We have successfully deployed Smart Meters & are efficiently managing the valuable data
gathered from the Load side through our intelligent Meter Data Acquisition System (MDAS).
Our meters are DLMS/COSEM protocol based with GPRS as its communication media. Different companies
are using different communication technologies like PLC & RF. After thorough study from previous projects
on smart grid in other parts of world & feedback from current pilot, GPRS seems to be better option in the
present condition for the meter communication in India. There will be no single technology use; it would
depend on the geographical & economic conditions at different places& combination of different technologies
will be utilised. GPRS removes the requirement of Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) & India has strong cellular
communication infrastructure which will play an important role in communication segment of the smart grid.
