PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
United States Marine Corps
Embarkation and Logistics 2011 to 2015
à During 4 years of the Marine Corps, moved more than 14 million pounds of cargo and
approximately 6000 marines to and from more than 10 different countries and islands, supporting
humanitarian efforts and contingencies.
à During a moment’s notice worked around the clock to ensure that 42 principle end items, which
totaled approximately 226,000 pounds, were prepped and flown from Okinawa Japan to the
Korean peninsula in support of a Ballistic Missile Defense Contingency.
à Capitalized on opportune lift, moving twelve 7 ton trucks from port to port while significantly
under staffed singlehandedly coordinated the movement from Okinawa japan, to Iwakuni Japan
to redistribute these vehicles while conducting embarkation operations in support of a major
exercise to Guam. Ensured these operations and movements were done safely and successfully.
à Proven future operations planner, established standard procedures in 2013 for marines that were
in need of sustainment or replacement parts during exercises and contingencies.
à Planned, organized, managed future operations, and supervised the work of subordinate staff to
ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
à Personally took responsibility for opportune movements to facilitate the needs of, at times, more
than 1000 movements which each would require their own specific requirements and
justifications to move gear to and from ports.
à Took the lead on movements that were multiple ranks above my position for 5 months to ensure
that, during logistical movements, and crisis, mission requirements were met in a safe and timely
manner.
