Performed preservation, watchstanding, and line handling duties. Preserved and maintain over 200
rooms and structures in a efficient and timely manner. Stood 450 hours as a vigilant watch stander
ensuring the safe navigation through numerous foreign ports and foreign waters. Watch standing duties
included 100 hours as a Helmsman in sometimes treacherous waters. Moored (line handled) USS
George Washington into 4 foreign ports, ensuring a safe entrance and exit of the ship. Performed small
boat operations: in emergency and training situations.
Managed logistics and handling over 1000 materials (paints, oils, cleaning solutions, etc.), Provided
customer service for over 4000 fellow service members. Ensuring safe and proper handling of
hazardous materials for shipboard use.
Operation Specialist 2013 – 2016
Logged over 5000 hours as a Radar operator, locating, identifying, and maintaining an accurate track of
over 8000 shipping vessels of all natures. Used teamwork to tactically communicate to multiple watch
stations to ensure an overall surface picture.
Performed as a maintence man, responsible and accountable for the upkeep of over 100 rooms on
board the ship. My dedication to job ensured readiness of multimillion dollar equipment.
