Examples: church ->  churches box -> boxes Potatoe -> potatoes
c) Consonant + ”y” ending, delete “y” and add “ies” Examples: secretary -> secretaries summary  -> summaries Exception day -> days Play -> plays d) When they have “f” or “fe” ending: delete “f” or “fe” and add “ves” Examples: wife -> wives wolf -> wolves knife -> knives
e) There are some irregular nouns that don’t follow the rules and you need to learn them by heart ox  ->  oxen man > men tooth ->  teeth fish -> fish deer ->  deer woman -> women foot -> feet child ->  children person ->  people mouse ->  mice
