CNN Blog
 Journalism blogs are basically blogs contain news story.
 It is basically proven by official company, for example, CNN blog.
 In Journalism blog, photos or sometimes videos will be posted to show more
proof and easy understanding for audiences.
 Journalism blog are facts, and are real cases happening around us.
 In journalism blogs, professional journalists are the authors.

3. What is personal blogging? (The
Everywhereist)
 Blogging is a type of giving out an opinion on a certain platform, known as blog.
 In blogs, the information given might not be totally true, as it is not certified by
any third parties before posted.
 However, blogs post are usually much faster than journalism blogs.
 Different bloggers will have different ideas or topics toward their own blogs,
therefore the style between blogs will be different.

4. Content
 For content, journalism blog are basically more serious on writing, while for
personal blogging, it is more relaxed and self-opinion.
 The content for journalism blog must always be confirmed before the publication,
but personal bloggers can update the information any time they want.
 Journalism blogs giving out facts that could bring huge impact towards audiences,
while personal bloggers are basically sharing out something.

5. Target audiences
 For the target audiences, journalism blogs basically focus on the one who are
interested towards the world’s run.
 Personal bloggers are basically aiming anyone who need suggestions or
inspiration on something, and they share their own ideas towards it.
 Therefore, journalism blogs keep updating news which currently happening
around our world.
 Personal bloggers update their blogs on the right time, to attract more audiences.

6. Platform for engagement
 To engage more audiences towards either journalism blogs or personal
blogging, both use social media platforms to benefit themselves.
 Nowadays, people are quite often in using social media, this plays a big
role for not even promote, but remaining the audiences.
 An example of these, a blogger will open a page on Facebook and
Instagram in order to promote his or her own blog.
 Both type of blogs do have their own accounts on social media platform
to have more traffic and audiences.

7. Preparation before publication
 In journalism blogs, journalist usually needs the confirmation of the story before
posting.
 Furthermore, their posts could not be too sensitive, as journalists required to be
balance before publish
 Therefore, the posting period always will be after the editing and confirmation
from their superior.
 However, for personal blogger, they express their own feeling or willing to share
out something.
 They can keep updating their posts or edit them even they already posted.
Journalism blogs cannot do so.

8. Authors
 Journalism blogs hire actual journalists to maintain their blogs
 It may contains a number of journalists who is working for the company, eg: CNN
news blog
 In personal blogs, it basically only consists the writer who managing the blog
 Therefore, the number of postings for personal blogs are much lesser than
journalists blog.
