2. Contents
This is the first draft of my school
magazine cover.
As this is the first initial draft(s)
of my magazine I did not feel the
need to use colour, as I wanted
to use these drafts as more of a
basic representation of my
school magazine layout.
3. Contents Heading
As the heading of the contents page I have used the âXLâ
part of the masthead and incorporated it in and around
my magazine (where relevant). I have partitioned the
two words âXLâ and âCONTENTSâ and swapped the
background colour to make the words stand out allot
more.
4. Contents Pictures
I have used a variety of
different pictures in my
contents page to indicate
the different types of
happeningâs in the
magazine. I have also
used pictures to try and
be more âfriendlierâ and
appealing to the more
younger readers.
5. Contents Page Listings
I have copied the more
conventional approach of
the page listing section of
the contents by
highlighting the page
numbers on the left and
the name of the article in
smaller body font.
6. School Magazine Article
I Have followed the
theme of the contents
page using the same type
of heading for the
magazine article.
I have used the space
available to create an
interview with an
person, I have
interviewed for this
article one of my fellow
students.
7. Article Picture
On the opposite page of
the article I have
incorporated a whole
page picture of the person
who was interviewed, this
would appeal to a reader
who would like to see a
what the interviewee
looked like.
