This document provides details on the design elements of a school magazine, including:
- The masthead uses a large font to stand out and identify the magazine's name.
- The main color is blue to represent the school's uniform colors. A picture of the school is also included.
- A top strip provides more information on magazine contents like games and puzzles. The school's motto is in the strapline.
- The contents page uses the same fonts and blue background color for consistency. Article titles are listed with their page numbers. The feature story is highlighted with a related picture.

The masthead has been written in a larger font than the cover lines so that it
stands out and so you know that it is the name of the magazine. I used the
school’s badgeto show that the magazine is made and about Archbishop
Ilsley. Blue was used as the main colour as the feedback from my survey said
that colours that representthe schoolshould be used so this is whatI have
done. I used a picture of a place in the schoolso readers that attend the
schoolwill know that the magazine is made and about their school. Also, I
have included a top strip and a strap line, the top strip includes a bit more
information on what the reader will find in the magazine which in this case it
tells them that there is games and puzzles inside and the strapline is the
school’s motto which identifies the magazine with the school.

I made the background of this page blue to match the frontcover of my
magazine and I used the same fonts that I haveused on the front cover
for the same reason. The contents page is where the reader can find
extra information about the stories that are inside the magazine so I
have written the titles of each article clearly and next to the number of
the page that you will find it on. I have also left a section which will
display the magazines main story; I havemade it this way so that the
main story stands out to the reader when they are looking at the
contents page and there is a picture relating to that story to give them a
little bit more detail.
