2. This is the main image on the front cover. It is in the centre of the page and the person is
giving direct address to the reader of the magazine. I changed the background colour to black
to that the coverlines would stand out and be clearer to the reader more.
3. I then added the first coverline, which is about the interviews that will feature in the magazine.
I have added a stroke effect to this coverlines as it did not stand out.
4. I then added the slogan which is located under the masthead
and says ‘For the people who love music...’

6. I then added the barcode, the date issue and the
price of the magazine.
7. Then I added another cover line. By adding the ’50’ first this gave
me the chance to over lap the rest of the cover line.
8. I Then added another cover line which is known as the ‘puff’ as the magazine is
giving away a free meet and greet to meet Kasabian in New York.
9. Next, I added the main coverline which is connected to the main image. Which is bigger than the
other coverlines so the reader can see that it goes with the picture.
10. I then added the ‘Refrain’ coverline, with each word being separate
so that I could make the words closer.
11. I then added the last coverline and then my magazine front cover was
complete.
