  2. 2. I created a questionnaire and after having people in the range of mytarget audience complete it I used the results to help design theproduct. This gave me a better idea of what my target audience wantedand I was able to meet there wants. This is the questionnaire that was completed by my target audience.

COLOUR SCHEMEOne of the questions that I asked my target audience was ‘What is the colour/s that you wouldlike to see on the front of an Indie music magazine?’The main colours that would be preferred to be seen on an Indie music magazine were black,red and white. I have kept the same colour scheme going throughout all ofthe production.However, I have used the same yellow on both the front coverand the main page of the DPS but this colour was not part ofthe chosen colour scheme I chosen it as it is a bright colourthat stands out which will help to capture the audiencesattention. Chosen colour scheme: Black, Red and White.
