2. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 Behold, I tell you a mystery:
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will
be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and
this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this
corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal
has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in
victory." 55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades,
where is your victory?" 56 The sting of death is sin,
and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to
God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be
steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work
of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in
the Lord.

4. I. MY FATHER'S LITTLE BOY
A. 1 Samuel 17:1-11 Now the Philistines gathered their
armies together to battle, and were gathered together
at Sochoh, which belongs to Judah; they encamped
between Sochoh and Azekah, in Ephes Dammim.
2 And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered
together, and they encamped in the Valley of Elah, and
drew up in battle array against the Philistines. 3 The
Philistines stood on a mountain on one side, and
Israel stood on a mountain on the other side, with a
valley between them. 4 And a champion went out from
the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath,
whose height was six cubits and a span. 5 He had a
bronze helmet on his head, and he was armed with a
coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five
thousand shekels of bronze. 6 And he had bronze
armor on his legs and a bronze javelin between his
shoulders. >>>
5. I. MY FATHER'S LITTLE BOY
7 Now the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam,
and his iron spearhead weighed six hundred shekels;
and a shield-bearer went before him. 8 Then he stood and
cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, "Why
have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a
Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man
for yourselves, and let him come down to me. 9 If he is
able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your
servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then
you shall be our servants and serve us." 10 And the
Philistine said, "I defy the armies of Israel this day; give
me a man, that we may fight together." 11 When Saul and
all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were
dismayed and greatly afraid.
1. "Common Sense" will tell you who will win the battle

C. BUT WHAT ABOUT DAVID!!!!! 1 Samuel 17:31-37 Now
when the words which David spoke were heard, they
reported them to Saul; and he sent for him. 32 Then David
said to Saul, "Let no man's heart fail because of him;
your servant will go and fight with this Philistine." 33 And
Saul said to David, "You are not able to go against this
Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a
man of war from his youth." 34 But David said to Saul,
"Your servant used to keep his father's sheep, and when
a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,
>>>
7. I. MY FATHER'S LITTLE BOY
35 I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb
from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it
by its beard, and struck and killed it. 36 Your servant has
killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised
Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied
the armies of the living God." 37 Moreover David said,
"The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion
and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the
hand of this Philistine." And Saul said to David, "Go, and
the LORD be with you!"
1. David rebuked them "Where is your Faith?"
2. David rebuked them "Where is your courage?"
3. David rebuked them "The battle is THE LORD's, I'll do
it.”
8. I. MY FATHER'S LITTLE BOY
D. Remember the end? 1 Samuel 17:40-49 Then
he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for
himself five smooth stones from the brook,
and put them in a shepherd's bag, in a pouch
which he had, and his sling was in his hand.
And he drew near to the Philistine. 41 So the
Philistine came, and began drawing near to
David, and the man who bore the shield went
before him. 42 And when the Philistine looked
about and saw David, he disdained him; for he
was only a youth, ruddy and good-looking.
43 So the Philistine said to David, "Am I a dog,
that you come to me with sticks?" And the
Philistine cursed David by his gods. >>>
9. I. MY FATHER'S LITTLE BOY
44 And the Philistine said to David, "Come to me, and
I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the
beasts of the field!“ 45 Then David said to the
Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a
spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the
name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of
Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the LORD
will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you
and take your head from you. And this day I will give
the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the
birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that
all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD
does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is
the LORD'S, and He will give you into our hands."
>>>
10. I. MY FATHER'S LITTLE BOY
48 So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and
drew near to meet David, that David hastened and
ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 Then
David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone;
and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his
forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead,
and he fell on his face to the earth.

gathered to Him; and He was by the sea. 22 And
behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came,
Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at
His feet 23 and begged Him earnestly, saying, "My
little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and
lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed,
and she will live." 24 So Jesus went with him, and
a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.

ruler of the synagogue, "Do not be afraid; only

synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and

delivered by the determined purpose and
foreknowledge of God, you have taken by
lawless hands, have crucified, and put to

17. MY FATHER’S VICTORY
A.SATAN AND THE WORLD ARE AT WAR WITH THE
CHURCH AND CHRISTIANS. Revelation 13:6-
10 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against
God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and
those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to
make war with the saints and to overcome them. And
authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and
nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him,
whose names have not been written in the Book of
Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the
world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who
leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who
kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.
Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
18. MY FATHER’S VICTORY
B. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE LAMB! Revelation 12:9-
11 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent
of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives
the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a
loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and
strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the
power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of
our brethren, who accused them before our God
day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by
the word of their testimony, and they did not love
their lives to the death.
19. MY FATHER’S VICTORY
C. REMEMBER THE END! Revelation 21:2-8 Then I,
John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming
down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud
voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle
of God is with men, and He will dwell with them,
and they shall be His people. God Himself will be
with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe
away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no
more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be
no more pain, for the former things have passed
away." 5 Then He who sat on the throne said,
"Behold, I make all things new." >>>
20. MY FATHER’S VICTORY
And He said to me, "Write, for these words are
true and faithful." 6 And He said to me, "It is
done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
Beginning and the End. I will give of the
fountain of the water of life freely to him who
thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all
things, and I will be his God and he shall be My
son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving,
abominable, murderers, sexually immoral,
sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their
part in the lake which burns with fire and
brimstone, which is the second death.“
21. MY FATHER’S VICTORY
D. WE KNOW THE END OF THE STORY.
1. We know the outcome of the battle and the war.
2. My Father will be victorious!
3. And so will His children be victorious! Revelation
22:12-15 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and
My reward is with Me, to give to every one
according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the
Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and
the Last." 14 Blessed are those who do His
commandments, that they may have the right to
the tree of life, and may enter through the gates
into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and
sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers
and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a
lie.
