beginning of lunch.
All members should attend and please
bring your $5 dues.
6. Upcoming visits:
Univ. of Alabama, Concordia Univ. (CA), Menlo
College (CA), Univ. of San Diego, and the
Univ. of Hawaii College Opportunity Program
(COP). Go to Family Connections to sign-up.
Remember to get your permission form signed
by your teacher.
7. Hawaii Pacific University:
A tour of the school is scheduled for
Wednesday, Nov. 18th. This is open to
seniors and juniors but limited to only 14
students, so this is on a first come first
served basis.
Transportation will be provided. Go to Family
Connection to sign-up.
8. KAPIOLANI COMMUNITY COLLEGE:
STEM Program will be hosting the 6th Annual
STEM EXPO Opportunity Event on Thursday,
Nov. 19th, 10am– 2pm at Koki`o Building Mall.
This event will promote career, degree,
service and internship opportunities to
students interested in STEM careers and
related fields. See Mr. Fong for more.
9. CHAMINADE:
During the week of Nov. 15th, the university
will be holding their annual application fee
waiver week.
Students will be able to submit their
applications at no cost, using the code
WAIVERWEEK when prompted for payment of
the fee. Applications must be received
before Nov. 21st, 11:59pm.
10. Seniors:
Please check on the scholarship listing on
Family Connections. New scholarship awards
were added. All applications are available in
Mr. Fong’s Office.

11. Pac-5 Swimming:
Practice begins today, 4-5:30pm, at
Kaimuki High School Pool.
Open to students in grades 7-12.
12. CLUB MED VOLUNTEERS:
Volunteers are needed for Handicapped Bowling
on Saturday, Nov. 21st, 10:30am-12:30pm, at Ft.
Shafter Bowl. All paperwork is needed for the
vehicle being driven on base.
Club members must volunteer at least once this
year. Other students are also welcome for those
wanting community service hours.
