Permission slips for the Veterans Day Parade are due
by 3pm today in Room A314.
4. COLLEGE VISITS:
11/8 – University of Alabama
(Sign-up on Naviance and get permission from your
teacher.)
5. UH SCHOOL OF MEDICINE:
Early acceptance applications are now being accepted
for this program. You must have a GPA of 3.8 or
higher, SAT/ACT scores, completed/in progress
courses in Pre-calculus, Biology, Chemistry and
Physics.
See Mr. Fong for more information. Deadline is
December 1st .
6. COP:
College Opportunity Program is now accepting
applications for Fall 2017. If you do not meet all
admission requirements, this program may be right for
you to gain provisional admission.

7. COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP:
If you have done significant service in and out of
school, the Violet Richardson Scholarship is a
monetary award scholarship that you may want to
apply for.
This is open to ages 14-18.
See Mr. Fong.
8. COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Volunteer greeters and ushers are still needed
for “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The dates are
Nov. 11, 12 & 13. If you are available and want to
earn hours, please see Mrs. Eubanks in Room
A226, or check out the flyer posted around
campus to scan the QR code or the URL.
9. MARCHING BAND PRACTICE:
Beginning Monday, October 24th , the band will
be practicing in the front parking lot from 4:00-
5:00pm every Monday and Thursday until
November 21st , preparing for upcoming parade
performances.
10. LOST AND FOUND:
All items here in the HS Office must be claimed
by next Thursday, Nov. 10 th . Items left
unclaimed will either be donated or discarded.
There are several water bottles and flasks;
school uniforms such as skirts, blouses, and
cardigan sweaters; prescription glasses; etc.
11. GREAT ALOHA RUN:
The Great Aloha Run High School Fitness
Challenge forms are now available!
