3. INTERNATIONAL CLUB:
There will be a meeting on Thursday, April 13 th ,
during lunch in Room A222, to discuss next year’s
club officers. Light snacks will be served.
4. UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY:
The Academy is offering a fast-paced, six-day
experience called Summer Seminar for high achievers
who have completed their junior year in high school.
Summer Seminar teaches you about life at the Naval
Academy.
Applications are now open and will close today. See
Ms. Dolan or Mr. Fong for details.
5. NATIONAL COLLEGE FAIR:
The Annual National College Fair will be held today,
from 5:00-8:00pm at the Hawaii Convention Center.
Over 200 colleges will be in attendance. You can
register ahead of time and receive fair details and
print a barcode form to show the college admission
officers. See your grad counselor for flyers.”
6. SCHOLARSHIPS:
The Academy is offering students two Specialty
Scholarships; one is a Driver Education Scholarship
and the other is SHA’s Clothes Closet Caring
Scholarship.
Applications for both are available on Edline in the
News section of the Home Page. You may submit your
completed application form by April 21 st via email to
lloo@sacredhearts.org or drop it off to the
Development Office in Room A213.
7. HS LIBRARY:
Please return any outstanding books to the library by
Thursday, April 13 th , and please pay all printing
charges by Friday, April 28 th .
No IOUs will be accepted beginning Monday, May 1st .
8. COMMUNITY SERVICE INFO:
If you are looking at getting a head start on
community service hours for next year, here are some
options via the S Club. This is open to all not just S
Club members.
Adopt a Block – help clean up Makiki Park; April 29th .
Young Athletes program at Kaiser High School working
with special needs children; April 29th
9. 7-12 WORKSHOPS:
Students can sign-up for “Hawaiian Haku Lei
making”or a bamboo-themed Hair Pick workshop.
These workshops are available on Tuesday, April 25 th
at 2:45pm and on Wednesday, April 26 th at 1:30pm.
The workshops are two hours in length and will be
held at the Student Center. Seats are limited to 75 for

10. LOST AND FOUND:
Several items were found in unassigned lockers
or assigned lockers with no lock on it.
If you are missing items that you placed in the
above mentioned lockers, please see Mrs. Neves
in the HS Office to claim.
